This is the result of not yet establishing nuclear deterrence and unveiling nuclear first strike/retaliation capabilities. Iran is playing a cheeky smart game in order to reap the benefit of global trade as well as being a nation with a closet nuclear deterrence. However, it would be much more beneficial for Iran, even from a strategic viewpoint, to perform an immediate nuclear test launch and announce to the world that we are a nuclear power capable of full blown nuclear tit for tat. Then Iran will be able to be forceful with everyone in the region with its impressive conventional arsenal and bully Israel and other hostile elements.
Iran has to unleash the beast. It is the perfect time to do so. It would be a big win strategically.

The counter strike should be by Iran itself and not by its proxies only then it will have any worth. Iran is on receiving end for quite a long time now, israelis killing their top scientists within iran was already crossing the redline. They killing your heroes and getting away with it.

Can't say. Perhaps, the most appropriate response would be to hit the military assets (Whatever was used to hit that embassy). But not sure, if Iran has such capability at first place.
Anyways, response must come. Israel must know that there's is the cost to pay when it does such gross violations. You can't let your enemy get bold enough. Need to put a stop.

Iran should attack Israel from its own soil. This is a war that the Jews themselves started.

They want a full on war in the region. Want to involve the big players. Iran strategically is gifted and not a nation to steam in knowing it’s what the enemy want. Iran needs to be patient and avoid escalation.
