Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

By that measure, can Turkiye attack IDF troops in Syria, Lebanon, West Bank, Gaza, Somaliland and still not be technically attacking Israel? None of these territories that Israel occupies are Israeli territory, and any presence of IDF can be treated as terrorists?
When pigs can fly thats the time Turkey can actually attack any israeli presence.
with all respect to turks members here.

This is how it begins. Israel tests the redlines and once they realize you won’t respond they will get more and more brazen.

That is what happened to Iran in Syria. Iranian leadership foolishly accepted that “well Israel attacking us in Syria is a 3rd country and not attacking Iranian soil so it’s fair game” and what did that lead to? Hundreds of strikes on Iranian and Iranian aligned forces and equipment in span of a decade. Eventually the strikes came to Iranian soil either way.

So for Turkey, if it follows the same blind eye to these attacks they will only get worse over time and more frequent.

Turkey needs to do a strong attack on Israeli forces in Golan to send a response. Or else it will lose the deterrence war before it even begins.

You are correct on this. And Turkiye will put Israel in its place. Do not mistake silence for disregard. Similarly, Iran should have figured out by now that bluster and bravado will never be accepted as tangible action by the Israelis.

Iran is also the only country since Saddam’s Iraq to have directly attacked Israeli soil multiple times over. Its fault was waiting too long to get to that point. Turkey is still actively economically trading with Israel as we speak.

So I cannot take Turkey seriously until after it takes action. Which until now it’s unclear if they even plan to. No high level Turkish official has said they would respond. They were all quick to come out and say no Turkish soldiers were at the site and they have nothing to do with that site. That prevents Turkey from having to respond.

I don’t think this will be the end of this saga.

Agree.

By now, everyone and their dog should know that when dealing with Israel, passive diplomacy doesn't cut it. These animals will keep testing boundaries as long as there are no real consequences. It’s no different than a kid who keeps picking a fight until someone finally steps up and gives them a good thrashing. Turkey needs to face that reality directly instead of placing too much faith in NATO. Don't make the same mistake as the other Islamic nations.

You have to import gasoline and diesels because your refineries don’t make enough to meet daily demand. So no, you are not “shielded” for long.

Accepting this blockade is idiotic and will backfire horribly on this incompetent leadership.
That "demand" is artificially caused by low prices. Price liberalization or effective rationing(what russia does despite their refineries being struck) can easily be implemented. Iran could always escalate by opening the tunnels of the Esfahan enrichment facility. If the US wants to attack again be our guest.

Three aircraft carriers in Middle East and zero in China (because they dont have enough active for keep the deployment in Asia).

What a success.

And now, when USS Lincoln will come back home, prepare to see it circling cowardly whole Africa because they are too scared to pass Bab el Mandeb next to Houthis.

:ROFLMAO:(n)

Israel wouldn't have any beef with Turkey if it weren't for Turkey's attempts to usurp the spoils of the western led war on Syria. No honor among thieves.

I feel this picture is based on the pre war situation. Many core upstream industries have been destroyed. Take steel and metals refining for example. The Isfahan steel plant was bombed among others.

Steel is the backbone of most traditional industries. No steel, no oil and gas. All piping and other equipment is made of various grades of steel and must be replaced as they wear out, if not already bombed. Then you get fuel and chemicals shortages. That cripples logistics. How many truck and taxi drivers will be out of work due to gasoline shortages? Machinists, welders, pipe fitters, mechanics, refinery and other manufacturing operators, painters, etc. etc. Will they demonstrate and cause riots? How many industries will be backlogged due to trucking and logistics, on top of raw materials shortages?

This is just one example. In these recent wars they destroyed much of what previously enabled Iran to withstand economics sanctions. Plus we now have a physical naval blockade on top of banking and bureaucratic sanctions that existed before the war.
If the government felt as though it could not rebuild this industries with the current situation then they would have surrendered the enrichment program to the US formally by now.

There is no evidence for that. They tried to hand over the nuclear program in the negotiations until Feb 27.

I do you one better.

None of this ever would've happened if Israel didn't exist anyway.

But Israel does exist, and was always going to come into existence as a progression of western imperial growth.

Turkish take over of Syria on the other hand was not part of the deal when Israel and US rallied Europe, PGCC and Turkey to take down Syria. All that treasure was not spent by the alliance for Turkey, a junior member to take it all, and it will not be tolerated. Turkey cannot do anything about this because itself is a western protectorate. It is amazing how people fail to see this.

Don't get me wrong, Turkey has inherent strengths. To take on Israel it will have to go through a total revolutionary and painful transformation. That is not in the cards.

Israel has problems with every living being around them.

You meant Israel wouldn't have bombed Syria without Turkiye greedy, it's another thing.

Israel reason to exist from USA point of view, it's to bring chaos to the Middle East. Like Ukraine in Europe.

It's not fault of their peoples, Israeli and Ukrainian peoples are the victim of a corrupt ruling elite who get money from USA in exchange for the destabilization of their regions.

It's especially going hard in this stage of USA decline as superpower. Like USSR went rogue and crazy with Afghanistan war, when it started his final decline as superpower.
