It's become a social media fashion to hate on Islam. Unfortunately the behavior of Muslims going back decades has contributed to this.

Pakistani middle class in the UK are a disgrace and ruined our image there.

They don't integrate. They have their "Shariah patrols." They push their religion onto other peoples.

They call for shariah law and to behead those who insult Islam. Who would want them?

What I disagree with is the British targeted innocent educated Muslims.

I will agree with you that the actions of Muslims, or rather, inaction, contributed to the hateful environment. One example is the film industry in the West; it became normal that Middle Easterners or Pakistani's are always this evil segment of society, and all conflict is centered around them. There was never any pushback to correct this narrative or an absolute refusal to accept these roles. Rather, for a quick payday, they went along with it, and today it's bearing fruit.

This is just a small example, and this doesn't include the apology squad that was out after 9/11; this made it far worse for the Muslim outlook, as you unintentionally accepted responsibility.

Your actions from yesterday will not affect you today, but will affect your future.

Please also note that the hindu/sikh obsession with tarnishing Muslims actually applies here also. Hindus and Sikhs gladly portray a whole spectrum of controversial Muslim characters, so the blame isn't purely on bad choices by Pakistani/Muslim actors.

Middle Easterners commonly project their ills on Pakistanis and don't want to be associated with them.

Even Palestinians online and in the West spit on us. One is example is 85% of terror attacks in Europe come from North Africa/Middle East, yet some how all the blame comes on us.

Somehow those Middle Eastern terrorists are "connected" to Pakistan.

While Bharati & European sources play on this confusion, Middle Eastern people are keen to disassociate with us. They see us as part of the staining of their tainted image.

This is your "ummah." And i'm not trying to excuse all those sick Pakistanis in Britain.
