The territory surrounding San'aa is very similar to Baluchistan, its nightmare for any COIN operations, but if you see the areas controlled by Yemen's internationally recognized Govt you will notice most of that area is flat, hence its easier to move heavy and large forces with proper air cover from drones, attack helicopters. Yemen's govt forces despite getting fancy equippment from Arabs unable to stop because they are not a proper trained army, they are militia who are fighting Houthis who are also militias but far better organized, hence you see the rapid gains.

You can't reason with people, not those who are high on blind nationalism, despite that MDA was signed roughly 1-2 months ago, there wasn't even a joint exercise or any combined troops management, but somehow people expect that MDA will get Pakistan to just suddenly send troops to fight alongside who exactly? I would understand people stupid mockery if MDA was 2-3 years old, it has a HQ already set up in KSA, with few Brigade already raised and conducting joint exercises, or each country has dedicated 1-2 sqs of fighter jets doing war drills, but people are just so stupid to mock MDA which was signed 1-2 months ago, right now the who PACT is going through it what we call it " Writing rules & regulation " phase, but somehow people will pick up one point that is Nato's article 5 like argument to just mock without realizing how stupid they sound, hence you will see no technically sound member engage in such childish mockery. KSA didn't ask Pakistan or Turkiye for ground troops help, but they expect Pakistan/Turkiye to unilaterally just start attacking Houthis because NATO article 5 like clause... its useless to argue with such people.
