The early Turkic invaders conquered the Indus plains by force and imposed Muslim rule. The local population was defeated, taxed, and brought under a new political and religious order. Conversions followed under that pressure, not as some free, purely spiritual choice.

Later Pakistani narratives then decided to claim those same invaders as “us.” That is not history. That is a cover-up. It is an attempt to hide the fact that their ancestors were the ones who were conquered by pretending they were the ones doing the conquering.

First came the sword. Then came the conversion. Everything else is after-the-fact storytelling.

This whole region and the world in question has seen religious conversions over centuries. Even your ancestors were once following another religion before converting to Hinduism. I don't understand why Indians are so hurt or cry about people changing their religion to Islam. There are so many religions in the world and people converted back and forth yet Indians have a fixation and obsession with Islam.

Pakistan has conducted precision aerial and drone strikes in 10 locations across Afghanistan in retaliation for drones launched from the neighbouring country a day earlier, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said in the early hours of Thursday.

“In exercise of its sovereign right to self-defence, Pakistan conducted precision aerial and drone strikes against 10 locations in Afghanistan used for launching and storing these drones,” Tarar wrote in a post on social media platform X.

He added that the strikes were “deliberate, precise, calibrated and proportionate, and strictly limited to identified military objectives directly linked to the attempted attacks against Pakistan”.
