There was an infographic posted on Reddit some weeks ago saying most countries in the world now have a better opinion of China than the US, it's even flipping in Europe.

I saw it but I dont trust in that, how is measured?
I dont see that here.
Han Chinese people in Spain (300k people) has very good reputation, you can see crimes all day by all migrants nationalities here except them.
But China as world state and government is another thing. I dont see that good reputation here, there is little information about how is real life inside China, and it prevails old views of China as factory outsourcing of cheap labor force.
Anyway public opinion doesnt matter at all in a bankers plutocracy like USA.
If you see online comments of American people about Xi visit, they are not happy at all, they feel humiliated and they think USA soldiers shouldnt do that low job in the red carpet.
So Trump is not pleasing voters, it's just obeying bankers orders, true USA rulers who know the importance of good relations with China to keep their richness and power.

European views of USA since this Trump administration started has become very bad.It was from a western source, Pew's I believe.

Views of China have improved recently while views of the U.S. have worsened, to the point where China is now seen more positively than the U.S. in most countries surveyed.
But it's due to the constant Trump humiliation attempts to European leaders, things like Greenland and so on.

They do not respect China.
Remember just few years back they blamed covid on them and were happily filming from Chinese wild animal markets.
They have either fired or arrested multiple double citizen chinese-americans at record numbers who were working in the IT sectors across the US.
They started a trade war with China.
They just got busy with Iran but their ultimate goal or wish is for China to burn down.
The Americans just seems to be bogged down in greater mid-east for some reason which has bought the chinese alot of time. Example the 20 years the Americans wasted in Afghanistan and got anyways defeated was valuable time for the chinese and the last 4 Years the Americans wasted time on Russia and Iran which has bought the Chinese more time and took the focus off them. Russia-Ukraine war took the focus off them and then the Iran-US tit for tat war followed which put the chinese out of the Americans sight.
Make no mistake when they deal with these other issues they will turn towards China once again

diplomatically in presidents/pm relationships China is objectively the most respected state by USA right now.
No other president or primer minister visit to USA has made that kind of USA submission in this Trump administration.
And even in things like salutations, Trump jokes and humiliated other presidents like Macron, doing bad taste jokes about Macron wife publicly and so on.
Unthinkable that Trump behavior with Xi.
Orders from Trump's puppetmasters seem to be clear: No stupid jokes neither humiliation attempts with China, but do what you want with everybody else.

yeah I agree.
But Trump as main public representant of true USA rulers, has been ordered to show respect and avoid his arrogant clown true behavior. That's just respect.
But of course is due to USA ruling elite needing China like you said and I'd add: they fear China, they only fear China and nobody else.

They threw china under the bus severely just 2-3 years ago that is disrespect and they see china as their biggest rivals but they are just pre-occupied at this minute hence they don´t have time for china.

Trump has blown up good diplomatic relations between eu/usa.
but that is damaging usa interests? I'm not sure in that. I think this tough guy abusive behavior is good in a short term for USA.
In a long term could be bad, but maybe in a long term EU doesnt exist anymore as relevant partner, Germany economy is already declining.
