PAF pilot highlights how chinese J10C fighters have left US F16's Obsolete

You cant convince the west worshippers here. They can't understand different eras belong to different powers. Time never stays the same. This and upcoming era belongs to china.
Some people have been on their knees for so long that they can no longer stand up. There is no need to pay them any attention! China will follow its own plans to build a top-tier air force!

Hope to see the Pakistanis fly a J-10 demo one day
Are you referring to the J-10CY? It is a J-10C variant specifically designed for air shows.

The probability of Pakistan purchasing it is extremely small, practically negligible.

if the existing fleet of F16 can be upgraded and we get the new AAMRAAMs, then they can exist alongside the new J10Cs.
The F16s mere sight in the air still sends shivers across the border.
Also matter are the lionhearts in the pilots seats

F16s are cost effective and battle proven . Sometime things don’t need to be cutting edge just useful and reliable. Pakistani’s upgraded their F16s fleet because they still plays a big role in the military defence of the country.

Yes F16 will be very useful for long time. Everything has its uses, China still flying J-7s and J-8s and converted J-7s into a big UAV now. J-8s probably get converted into UAV in near future too.

Intensify all-around training. Enter the fifth generation at the right time. Fully capable of handling any challenge!

Rafale made its job so badly that since India ordered some more for its Navy, and maybe another big order for air force.

Because India has no choice.

Firstly, India is unable to purchase fighter jets of the Chinese system.

Secondly, India cannot afford the political conditions attached to American fighter jets.

Thirdly, the quality of Russian fighter jets is poor and they cannot be delivered on time.

So India actually only has three options: Rafale, EF2000, and Jas-39.

EF2000, as it is a multinational cooperative production, has always had slow political decision-making, and upgrading power is decentralized and difficult. External sales have always been difficult. It is even less likely to provide India with technology and production lines.

Jas-39 is a light fighter jet, and for Tejas, India will not consider a light fighter jet. And the key subsystems of Jas-39 (F414, radar, electronic warfare system, APU, etc.) are all controlled by third country technology, making it difficult for India to guarantee that it will not be subject to technology blockade and sanctions in the future.

So India can only choose Rafale. India already has a mature Rafale system, pilot training, logistics, ammunition, and maintenance chain are all very mature. France usually offers very high kickbacks when selling arms, which is suitable for India's national conditions. And it does not come with NATO operational restrictions. It is still a medium multi-purpose fighter jet. It can enable the Indian government to promote India's assembly, fuselage manufacturing, M88 maintenance center, and also shape India's diplomatic image as a "Western high-end fighter jet but not politically hijacked by the United States".

India could have used the TOT from SU30MKI to do something already but never underestimate indian incompetence. Technology is magic to indians they don't dare dabble in that crazy stuff so just have to always be a consumer.

In terms of combat experience and cost-effectiveness, the AK-47 assault rifle (including its clones and derivatives) arguably ranks first in the world; no other assault rifle can truly compare to it in these respects.

Does that mean we should always choose it?

No one denies the past glory of the F-16 fighter jet. But its era has come to an end!

Unfortunately, this is a blind spot in the Indian worldview.

Despite their constant clamor for "independence and self-reliance," their worldview has never truly embraced the concept. Opportunism is in their very nature!

dude dont you feel shameful creating multiple accounts pretending to be french and despite lots of evidence of multiple Rafales being blown out the sky denying that and living in a deluded bubble.

I dont understand what your doing on this forum.
I don't think Indians like him actually don't believe that Pakistan shot down Indian Rafales. I think they simply don't want us Pakistanis to believe that it happened.

They're so determined to control the narrative that they seem to think they can somehow brainwash us into believing it didn't happen simply by repeatedly denying it and spreading misinformation.

Please note, pilot is comparing J-10C with PAF's F-16s model specifically. The ones which have no AESA and the ones which carry older AIM-120C-5 missile. That's an ancient missile. It was introduced in year 2000. More than quarter of a century ago.

The F-16s which are being produced today are not obsolete in any sense of imagination. F-16s block 60 and onwards are half a generation ahead of PAF's F-16s.

PAF procured JF-17Cs and J-10Cs after last batches of F-16s. Those are AESA equipped and carries longer range AAMs definitely pose greater threat to enemy in any air combat.

There can't exist anyone on planet earth who would deny scores of indian air losses in 2025. Only buffoons may deny that.

- All those indian media reports of aircraft "crashes" exactly at spots where PAF mentioned they scored a kill. Then indian media reporting from outskirts where indian military / govt had cordoned off those sites.

- All those live streaming, photos by indian public themselves of aircraft debris, quickly experts around the world recognized those as Rafales, Su-30s, mig-29s.

- AVM Bharti acknowledging, "Yes losses are part of combat" when asked next morning, Pakistan is claiming downing IAF jets

- Indian CDS, himself accepting in front of whole world "Yes our aircrafts were downed" when asked specifically if Pakistan shot down indian jets.

After this overwhelming evidence, there can't exist any person who would deny that. In the history of warfare there cannot be more compelling evidence then which is already provided given that enemy aircrafts are shot down in enemy territory.

The J-10C is in a phase of gradual phasing out within the Chinese Air Force system!

Not J-10C. but earlier versions of J-10

Its like F-16A is being retired by many countries of the world. While F-16V is being purchased. Both F-16A and F-16V are very DIFFERENT aircrafts.

F-16V is modern 4.5 gen aircraft. F-16A is obsolete aircraft. Same thing with versions of J-10

It depends on whose hands the F-16 is in

Pakistan Air Force :
F-16 with 105 km AIM-120C5 air to air Missile

Israeli Air Force : F-16 with 250 km SKY STING air to air Missile
( F-16 + CAEW AEWC + Jammer Aircraft + SKY STING Missile ) a very dangerous combination for the J-10C Fighter Jet

Turkish Air Force also getting new capabilities with the F-16 OZGUR-2 upgrade
( MURAD-100 AESA Radar + GOKHAN-ER ramjet powered BVR Missile up to 300 km )

and Boeing E-7T AEWC to detect the J-10C from 350 km away
also ASOJ-23A stand off jammer Aircraft to paralyze J-10C's radar from 400 km away

India has 4 options, ie now the KAI KF-21 Boramae also, with its engine commanality with the Tejas program and Meteor with the Rafale.
