Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

The New York Times, citing an American official: The United States provides military support to Saudi Arabia during the attack against the #Houthis

Member of the political bureau of Ansarullah, Hazem al-Assad on X:

🔺Bab al-Mandab, Dhubab and al-Mokha remain under the control of Yemeni forces and local residents.

🔺 Saudi forces attempting to bypass Lahij Governorate this morning were repelled.

🔺Saudi forces are trying to manufacture a media victory, but it will backfire and once again expose the falsehood of their claimed victories.

Taiz has not fallen and this is not taiz but Turbah..

Distortion of facts or ground reality won´t help..
The governor's house in Taiz fell, and if when Assad's house (in Syria) fell, the government of that place fell as well, we can analogously use the same reasoning and say that without the government of Taiz, the government of Aden no longer controls the city. Now (as I had already posted) there are still battles in that region, therefore no incorrect information was posted.

Today, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrives in Jeddah, accompanied by Pakistani Army Commander Field Marshal Asim Munir, on a 3-day official visit, during which they will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss bilateral relations and strengthen the strategic partnership, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international developments.

Our Armed Forces Achieve Successive Victories on Various Fronts as Part of Operation "Dawn of Yemen"

Our armed forces, supported by the Popular Resistance, the air force, and the air force of the Arab Coalition, achieved successive victories today on several fronts and battle axes, amidst widespread collapses and heavy human and material losses within the ranks of the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia.

In the western coastal region, the Giants Brigades and the Homeland Shield Forces, with air support, succeeded in repelling the Houthi militia from the Bab al-Mandab area, Dhubab Airport, al-Omari Camp, and the city of Mocha. They continue their advance towards al-Khokha, after decisive battles in which the Houthi militia suffered dozens of dead, wounded, and captured.

In the western countryside of Taiz, the armed forces managed to repel the Houthi militia from several positions and areas they had infiltrated, amidst a mass flight of militia members and the killing, wounding, and capture of many of them.

In Marib Governorate, the armed forces launched a large-scale military operation on several axes in the southern and northwestern fronts. On the southern front, the armed forces liberated and secured a number of key positions previously held by the militia and are steadily advancing towards the strategic Umm Rish camp.

The battles, accompanied by heavy artillery shelling targeting enemy positions in Qurun al-Bur and the Umm Rish camp, resulted in dozens of militia casualties, both dead and wounded.

On the northwestern front, our forces liberated several positions in Sailat Ragwan, killing more than 14 Houthi fighters and wounding others by army fire.

Simultaneously, warplanes conducted several airstrikes targeting Houthi militia positions and vehicles in various areas, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment. These strikes included the destruction of an arms depot in the Heelan Mountains and the destruction of vehicles loaded with ammunition on the Ragwan front.

The armed forces continue their field combat operations on all fronts and axes as part of Operation "Dawn of Yemen" until its operational objectives are achieved, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

it will take weeks and months
70 billion dollars on their military and they can’t handle the Houthis seriously on paper you would think Saudi Arabia wouldn’t need any outside forces to deal with a group like the Houthis on paper they out number them they have on paper one of the top air forces in the world(minus stealth aircraft) and everything in between but they need turkey Pakistan and America to for either more weapons, intelligence(I would’ve figured Saudis would have been keeping constant watch on them for over 10 years)and maybe even manpower if Americans(trump) finally decides to intervene or they get competent pilots from Pakistan or turkey if they can’t do the job themselves I don’t see Pakistan or turkey putting their men in the line of fire but definitely competent military advisers that could run the show at best
