#Balakot | The Indian Air Force, it can now be clearly said seven years after the fact, missed its designated targets, lost a fighter jet in an aerial skirmish, shot down its own helicopter, had another near-miss friendly fire incident over Rajasthan and was put on the backfoot because of the capture of its fighter pilot.
How the Modi government drew political mileage out of a military failure. Read our March 2025 cover story by @SushantSin
Full nailey hein.So apparently based on this Indian source, during Swift Retort an Indian Su-30mki fired a missile at an Indian MiG-21 in a near miss own kill.
I shall be in your parts in the not-so-distant future.Next planned is 6 sqn, so maybe after that.
Than show the rafales whose tail numbers were claimed by PAF in Air force monthly magazine. If those videos and Images indeed show the wreckage of crashed Indian fighter jets, PAF should present them at an official press conference.
Pakistan Air Force can identify the wreckage and establish whether Indian fighter jets were actually downed, and Indian Air Force and Indian government would then be compelled to respond to those claims.
If PAF officially acknowledges the shootdowns and backs them with clear visual evidence, it would be Impossible for Indian Air Force to deny the losses.

Wo bichara kaisay dikha sakta hai (ab).Than show the rafales whose tail numbers were claimed by PAF in Air force monthly magazine.
Bdsk paj@@t.
It’s there but they have blurred it in official images releasedWo bichara kaisay dikha sakta hai (ab).
IAF has removed the Tail Numbers (clean) off the Vertical Stabilizers of "only" their RAFALES.
Proof/Evidence: Images were shared of the IAF Rafales by the twitter/X handle of the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force), during Excercise Pitch Black.
Now here is a question for the Indian members...
Q. Why has the IAF only removed the Tail Numbers off the Rafales and not anything else in their inventory?
For the record, I have been following Military Aviation for decades, and not once in my life have I have seen or heard that a Military a/c not to have a Tail Number.
That's like a civilian Commercial Airliner not having a Registeration.
IAF's motto: "We're failing miserably even when we're not trying."
WoW...It’s there but they have blurred it in official images released
Part of it is reducing proof that xyz tails were taken down - at least in open source.WoW...
Question needs to be raised...
Q. Did RAAF blur out the Tail Numbers of all the other jets participating in the Excercise (including their own) ?
At who's instructions did RAAF blur out only IAF's jets?
Part of it is reducing proof that xyz tails were taken down - at least in open source.
Then there is the aspect of not providing proof which serials are still active.
So the IAF can request the host for this.
The PAF is claiming one serial confirmed with both ELINT, SIGINT, IMINT and HUMINT.
The others are claimed with elint - in one case with humint support and the others with osint claims.
The bigger reason Pakistan cannot claim a lot of its damage is also the mechanism it uses for IMINT. Because while India can accuse a third nation of assistance it has to provide more direct proof other than "we knew they were using/had support from xyz"
Because even if you scrub all evidence from the space assets image that could give clues to the origin - it is possible for the enemy to simply use that to extrapolate the angle of the camera taking the image - correlate that with its tracking of whose asset was at that narrow band in orbit - and then be able to use that as proof to put in front of the said third nation of cooperation and solidifying the two-front narrative.
A two front narrative for which they have been "promised" support from rivals to the said third nation IF India can provide more than just conjecture.
I go back to the aspect that people assume it is a binary problem or otherwise.
But I go back to examples of 1973 war - 1962 and other conflicts where you are both "not in conflict" but in "conflict" by proxy and yet cooperating in other aspects and so on.
If people want more congruent examples - see how Samsung, Apple - Foxxcon and other MNCs both act as suppliers, rivals, partners and still focus on their bottom lines without any "all out war".
