Iranian airforce has no current AWACS flying , I did ask about it. I was kindly informed by fellow Brother Mod RescueRanger the only one aircraft in their service crashed 2003 now Tehran lack any surveillance's to detect enemy jets from faraway.

I am not a military person but I think, given the gap in military technology between Iran and the US, the US doesn't need to bother. That is true of most countries v/s the US.

As much as I like Iran, American capability is at a whole different level. It is designed to fight China and Russia put together.

AWACS supported fighters have the advantage of superior information, which then allows better tactics and use of resources. If you are flying based on your own equipment only then you are going to be playing reactively the whole time based on what your instruments are telling you.

Ground based information is not as good as air based information because radar operate in straight lines and there are a lot of things that can interfere with it on (and fromthe ground.) In the air things are much clearer and therefore range is greatly improved.

Finally although you will need to defend your AWACS assets, it moves around, which is a lot harder to destroy than ground based facilities that don’t move around (or vehicle based ones which move around slowly).

Does the personal goal of martyrdom undermine the strategic interests of Iran, and is a betrayal of their oath to defend their country that they made to their people? Surely the goal should be to make intelligent decisions that cause material harm to the enemy and preserve your intellect that can be used to protect your country ? ie to be there for the fight until you win.

Additionally, if you are "on the hunt for martyrdom and are purposefully careless to achieve that - then is that really a true, and pure martyrdom or disguised suicide ?" ...

Your comment seems to imply that Iranian military planners are reckless and willing to throw away the interests of their country in their selfish desire for martyrdom. That’s not really the case.

In my study of the Islamic world with its 50+ Muslim majority countries Iran seems to be the only country that makes its policies based on the teachings of Islam. The Islamic principles of war require the belief that God exists and he can be relied upon for help. Based on that belief a Muslim is supposed to go into battle no matter what the odds. He is promised victory even at a ratio of 10:1.

Iran is the only Muslim country that follows instructions not to bow down to the enemies of Islam in fear of them. All the other Muslim countries have a policy of appeasement of the enemies of Islam in violation of Quranic injunctions.

A whole book can be written on how all the Islamic countries ignore Islamic principles of war and dealing with enemies, while Iran is the closest to following them.
