Iran’s navy says US forces hit Konark naval base; 2 troops wounded​

The US military attacked the Konarak naval base with “two light projectiles” early this morning, says Iran’s navy.

Two Iranian soldiers were wounded in the strikes on the facility, located in a military complex in Sistan and Baluchestan province on the southeastern coast of Iran.

“The target of the American forces in the attack on the Iranian navy this morning was a 35mm cannon,” it added.

I think the Iranians are saying they’re about to respond to American aggression if they’re admitting to an attack by Americans @Immortals @Persian Gulf

If they don’t respond then the country is doomed. Ever since the UAE flew their money plane to Tehran, tanker attacks have dropped.

Iran needs to have new elections and replace this reformist disastrous government.

The cannon story is probably bullshit. US wouldn’t risk a hot conflict before mid terms over an archaic cannon. Most likely these personnel were trying to fire ballistic mines or missiles into Gulf of Oman.

U.S. has drawn a red line at any attempt to re-mine the waterways. We saw them attack the other two personnel before when they tried to fire naval mine missiles.

There is more to this story and the IRGC and reformist government is covering it up.

if they ever did so what I think technically they actually have that capability with their space launch system but thousands of missiles were rained on Europe during world war 2 it’s a large country and Irans missiles would be detected in plenty of time to prepare keep the ranges for close threats keep on improving accuracy and speed also maybe even more ways to launch missiles without them being detected

This is why I don't understand why Iran focusses so little on Israel and more on the Gulf States, and why it has not caused sufficient damage to Israel's energy infrastructure so far(there was a refinery hit, yes - but the lights never went out..). If the war does restart, then we will see if Iran has changed her approach and if Iran will "also set Israel back 50 years, to the age of darkness, and to the Stone Age"..

I understand your point but let's also be aware that even till today, we aren't sure of the full extent of the damage Israel took from Iran since this war started due to censorship. Even damage US military took is coming out after the damage was done.

Iran must be able to hit targets far away to disrupt enemies logistics. Enemy bases in Diego Garcia and EU are legit targets. Public opinion is a separate issue.
