If true then it shows the flaw in Irans offensive capabilities? If nothing gets through then that will be mighty embarrassing.

That is why Pakistan leads with the airforce to clear the airspace so that SOW can get through.

Appreciate range is of course an issue in the Iran/israel context.
I agree. The chances of this happening are enormous with support from the USA and the UK.

Rishi Sunak has condemned "in the strongest terms the Iranian regime’s reckless attack against Israel".

In a statement, the UK prime minister says the strikes "risk inflaming tensions and destabilising the region".

He adds: "Iran has once again demonstrated that it is intent on sowing chaos in its own backyard.

“The UK will continue to stand up for Israel’s security and that of all our regional partners, including Jordan and Iraq.

"Alongside our allies, we are urgently working to stabilise the situation and prevent further escalation. No one wants to see more bloodshed.”

UK helping backfill US in region but not actively intercepting Iranian drones

From CNN's Jennifer Hansler

The UK is not actively deploying assets for the purpose of intercepting Iranian drones, but is providing backfill for US assets that have been redeployed from counter-ISIS operations in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, according to a source familiar.

If an Iranian drone or missile went straight into that territory, UK would operate there, but the source said this shouldn’t be seen as a joint operation.

Heavy aircraft flights in the vicinity of the Conoco Gas Base, east of Deir ez-Zor and in the eastern countryside of Raqqa.
▪️Iran said it has missiles aimed at American bases in Iraq.

It appears that what was left of the first wave of the first drones are only NOW beginning to reach Israel

Israeli air power would decimate Iranian ground forces. 1 million soldiers is nothing if they can't effectively defend themselves against targets they can't even see.

The Israelis aren't dumb, they know they're outnumbered, which is why they've invested so heavily in air power and other force multipliers.

You don't understand modern conflict.. Do you think they don't have manpad's... What makes you think they are completely naked for air attack... Stop the wrong fantasy

so Israel + USA + Jordan

~up to 200 Drones
~Up to 10 CM

Is my first estimate on strength of the attack.

Iranian Media: "A little patience and trust in God, gentlemen, the matter has just begun."

Channel 12 Hebrew:
Currently, official Israeli authorities confirm that they will respond to Iran's attack.
