Israel air defences 'operating at this very moment'​

As air raid sirens ring out, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have told Israeli civilians that they may hear blasts.

"The Aerial Defense Array is fully operational and is intercepting threats wherever required, even at this very moment," it said.

"At this time, numerous planes are in the air, ready to counter any threat. You may hear explosions from interceptions or debris falling."

Israel cannot do jackshit about it. The danger is they drag the US and NATO into this. @F-22Raptor is in denial. Iran did this with drones which are older generation and known to be around for a long time. Israel is no match for Iran, imo. So they threaten using nuclear weapons or bringing US to attack Iran.

Now question is, will the US force Israel to deescalate and withdraw from Gaza so we region can return to peace ? Or will they double down to assert Israeli dominance at all costs ?

I am honestly surprised old generation Shahed-136 drones in use by Russia for years now and a few dozen (at most) older generation Iranian ballistic missiles had this much success. Especially with the US working so hard to intercept as many as possible over Iraq.

Many were expecting 100% interception with potentially no impacts at all. Now we have already seen many many direct impacts, with many more drones yet to arrive in Israel.

This attack was clearly successful and showed Israel what Iran can do, even in a relatively restrained first strike with lots of warning.

This is not about causing significant damage. This is about setting red lines and Iran has effectively done so. People here don't seem to understand the strategic significance of this strike. For Pakistanis making fun of Iran, please STOP. Iran has done great job and we should all support them. The zionists hate us all regardless of our sects so please put away your secterian glasses. Iranians are our brothers and sisters. PS: Before someone accuse of me being from a certain sect, just to be clear I'm a Sunni.

And I have been known to attack Iran a lot in the past and asking them to fight and activate Hezbollah and so forth .... I'm not biased in this regard or want to present a false reality ..
