Iran launches Operation True Promise - massive missile/drone strikes across Israel, Israel allegedly responds with quadcopters

No civilian quadcopter can travel that far since there is no commercial handheld receiver that can send signal that far and receive images back. Be logical.

You can put it on GPS guided path, but then when it gets there what happens? Civilian drone doesn’t have a “please fly this gps path then crash into this object” option.

I know this because I have had drones before and flew them. Even $700+ drones you cannot manually fly further than 2-3KM and that’s ideal conditions with decent LOS drone to reciever.

Now maybe Israel/Mossad smuggled in military grade quadcopter, but civilian commercial grade cannot get far.

Yes that’s with pre planned GPS navigation. Not operator navigation.

You think a tiny handheld receiver can send and receive information from a drone 15KM? Drone only has GPS not datalink.

So let’s say you sent it directly over s-300? What then? It just goes to the area and hovers. And during that time you can’t see anything since again no datalink.

I have owned DJI drones before. I’m speaking from experience.

It's pretty clear from the footage that Iran tried to confuse missile defenses with a bunch of decoys and cluster warheads. That's why they're probably not gonna reveal the actual number of missiles - they don't want to give the game away to their enemies.

Nevatim Air Base with 4 runways is a massive airbase - quite suprised it is that big. It would be difficult to take out with 4 runways that can be used.

not that difficult target radars and hangers and if you are up to it fuel depots, instead of runways that take 2-4 hours to repair

You'll never see this kind of opinions in Western massmedia.

(CGTN, China press)

Western elite (USA ruling elite, Jew American ruling elite) are not a true friend of their Israeli cousins, they just use them like they use everybody else, as cannon fodder, to achieve targets.

USA wants WAR WAR and WAR in Eurasia, and Israel corrupt state is the useful idiot to trigger war.
USA doesnt need peace in Eurasia anymore, it's dangerous when energy, crude oil and raw materials start to run out.

China needs peace in Eurasia, because it's where they are.

USA is become more and more a world rogue state as peak oil approaches.

USA fake narrative is: Israel is crazy, they want to attack Iran and we want to stop but we can't. It's word by word lie made in USA. USA empire main features is lies, and USA is the current source of all world troubles.

It's sad how USA has turning into in fake liar country, where their people is constantly deceived by undercovers and bots.

Our highly respected fellow member @AmirIGM seems to also agree that micro damage was likely at the S-300 site.

Beyond Iran not enforcing a redline (one issue), is the lack of strategic planning around one of Iran’s most limited and precious assets (S-300).

Again beyond the trivial ‘who hurt who more’ type fanboy arguments going on social media. I hope IRGC takes necessary steps to address this issue in future. It should continue to strive to build a dense air defense multi layered network.

I hope this also opens fellow members eyes about the necessity of airbrone interceptors to protect the IADS. Now while this system has a back up radar, in war if you lose your radars you are left with have of expensive steel and junk (launchers) that cannot do anything. So protecting our limited quantity of long range systems is essential.

This should also serve to remind those that think Iran’s air defense shield cannot be overwhelmed. The best way to protect an air defense shield is to limit the number of attack lanes open to your opponent. That can only be done in combination with powerful airforce interceptors keeping the skies of Iran clear as well support systems (EW systems, Jammers, SHORADs, optical automated guns) protecting the most vital assets (Bavar, Arman, S-300, etc).

You're gaslighting again. My position, for one, is none that you describe.
  • Yes, comparison of the Iranian mega-strike vs Zionia's micro-attack is indeed important-both TACTICALLY and STRATEGICALLY. Otherwise you're arguing the sky is yellow.
  • As such, re-retaliation is not as clearcut as you suggest.
  • As for protection of IADS, I'm confident some heads are rolling as we speak (isn't Khatam ol Anbyah where the buck stops?). Light attack or not is immaterial. These quadcopters shouldn't get anywhere near a military facility.
  • I, of course, disagree with introducing an air force component to all this. I've said enough about this during the years. You don't buy an air force simply because you failed to knock down incoming small objects. You simply don't buy an air force.
As for your final point about 'This should also serve to remind those that think Iran’s air defense shield cannot be overwhelmed', that is the real elephant in the room. Iran obviously has the ability to overwhelm. What is the strategic effort to inhibit the opponent overwhelming Iranian systems. As of now, that is being inhibited by the cost the opponent's systems rather than their tech. Can and will that continue ad infinitum?

That's a big conversation for another day.

This dude is getting more and more eccentric and his logic more compium based rather than one of logic

Look at his thought process. Borderline vatanfooroosh and suffers from colonists slave mentality. “Cannot attack my masters” type thinking.

If Iranian leadership also thinks like then we have major problems. If someone thinks the lives of 3 IRGC Generals and 18 officers (since Dec) are not worth some fancy scraps of metal than they are nothing more than appeaser. Our generations Chamberlain.
