They won’t live long. Most of them will die within 4h on the front.
That’s even uglier than the death rate during the battle of Stalingrad between the German Wehrmacht and Soviet soldiers. In the battle most soldiers died within 24h.
This war between Ukraine and Russia is a massive human killing.

Germany’s new tank brigade 45 will have the job to stop the invasion.
That’s not cheap though.
A panzer brigade costs Germany 11 billion euros with 1 billion euros operating costs per year.
But a panzer brigade is too little. Probably 5 panzer brigades are necessary. Germany now has the option either increase the military budget to 150 billion euros per year, or…
So any war between Russia and NATO will go nuclear immediately.

NATO is a nuclear power. No country invades a nuclear power. Hence China and Russia developed their own nuclear weapons. Russia in particular is paranoid about foreign invasion given their experience from Napoleon and Hitler.
