Yeah they were both reserves. Most IDF forces are reserves especially in the north. I think the breakdown overall is like 100k full time troops and 400k reserve troops. Majority of them are 19-21 year olds with inflated ranks lol.

Egypt would have jurisdiction since Hamas would invite/consent to Egypt doing this. And the world does not care about international law in Gaza. Israel has invaded, the US has sent troops and is building a floating pier, the UK and other countries fly over Gaza... It seems only Egypt cares about international law.
