yeah.. that it was our delusion that we could control the uncontrollable. We just facilitated empires' defeat but meanwhile, a monster was created. The tragedy is that we seriously didn't take a multi-prong approach to solve it.

It is probably one of the most idiotic mistakes every made in the history of diplomacy. No surprise it came out of Pakistan.

Even a child with basic understanding could tell you it was a bad idea. The one group in Afghanistan which despises you and claims your land (Afghan Pashtuns) is who they empowered to be stronger.

It's like me handing over state secrets to India, information on our military and thinking the outcome will be good for Pakistan.
