The people of dadyal, mirpur, chakwari etc have been promised free electricity when we was asked to vacate our ancestral lands for mangla dam back in the 1950-60s. Our families made great sacrifice for the nation. The graves of our grandparents are in the dam reservoir, along with all our history.

Later the promise of free electricity was retracted and then it would be at a reduced rate. For the last 20 years, not only was these promises broken, electricity supply became intermittent when the dam was producing electricity.

On top of all this, the police are mostly recruited from Punjab, same for government jobs etc. this is unfair to locals and we see clear abuse of power at our detriment.

There is a strong feeling of abuse from outsiders who get government jobs and jobs in banks etc. Indeed I know many elders who have been robbed by bank officials of their savings.

If you are investing in a real estate project, the approvals of work will require many Lacs of corruption payments to Punjab officials posted in AK. They usual turn up at the final stages just before completion to squeeze many more Lacs out of investors.

Ak number plates cars are almost always stopped when travelling into Punjab for corruption payments by police.

The bridge to connect mirpur to pota sher, is 95% constructed but for reasons unclear to everyone, a final key bridge section is still yet to be completed. This project would save hours of travel time between villages around the dam reservoir.

How the troubles started.. a peaceful protests demanding fulfilment of promises made by Pak government war brutally repressed by police. Expired tear gas was used on multiple occasions, many people including children had to be hospitalised. The following day further protests again brutally attacked by the police. During the night police raids were conducted against protesters and their families humiliated, beaten and threats to take kids away. Sounds familiar to our Punjabi brothers??

It's all good bro the people gave a fine account of themselves. Sad one of our own passed, we will get to the bottom of it. Many people actually saved the Punjabi police folk from literally being torn to pieces. Lots of videos on it.
We destroyed the Dogra Raj.
We fought the Indian army to a standstill on the LOC.

I don't think the guy you quoted even bothered to read the printout of their demands.

My guy, educate yourself first, especially on sub-points 4,5,6,7,8 of section 2, and 3,4,5.

Heck they are asking for implementation of SC orders in 3 points.

And also demanding that they get 4G in AJK just like the rest of Pakistan.

I wouldn't be surprised over that lol. I was in Pakistan when Tlp were protesting in Ajk under Pti rule, the police did exactly the same, shelling for no reason, arresting everyone, raiding their houses, then tlp went aggressive and did what these protesters are doing.

Under PTI rule - all was Sunnah and Halal.

The same actions when any other political party comes to power is not. That is the double standards on which Pakistanis roll.

People rioted and damaged public property, and when they were caught with their pants down, they started propogating human rights and must be forgiven because they are affiliated with a certain party. In recent times, there has been a drive, a motive really to create such sort of an unrest where LEA gets deployed and is forced to open fire. One of the tactics in place is of a "kabbadi" styled forceful pulling out of a LEA personnel into the mob as an abduction where the LEA will resort to aerial firing and then that aerial firing will be termed as targeted firing into the crowd killing and wounding scores of public.
