Cantonments were built near cities to control locals. Pak Army should have vacated the cantonments and build army bases near border and work towards making itself a professional army geared towards defense of country but it geared towards occupying it. Hope issue gets resolved quickly and peacefully because Pakistan is stretching too thin with forces. You have hostile Afghan border, KP, FATA and now Kashmir.
