IDF probably relocated iron dome missiles allowing the resistance to successfully hit israel. Overall, I do think Iran will hit israel harder than last time, but will do so with a way out for israel to avoid a full war. The standard American/Israeli approach is to drop bombs in large numbers. Exact enough costs to make the enemies back down. Conventional war is not an option against a Superpower and its rich/powerful allies.

If israel manages to pull the US into a regional war with Iran, China will take opportunity and annex Taiwan. Support for Ukraine would dwindle and Russia would hasten their victory. At the end of the day the US will be faced with two strategic defeats because of israel.
