It is bewildering to read comments that make it seem as if an under-secretary from GoI and the local Dy.SP can replicate the Maldives experience. Truly bizarre.
As for the braves and chiefs who have been whooping around the fire, brandishing tomahawks in a war-dance, they need to get real. This is not the time that the ministry at the centre wants to attract MORE attention, in the wake of the Canadian assassinations, the attempted killing in the US, and the rebuke administered after these laughably stupid things emerged.

Once this is seen by the superior citizens, they may well smirk in your general direction and make an airy-fairy remark about the strange deaths that are taking place in Pakistan. Deaths that seem to afflict only individuals hostile to India. You must, at that point, blush, stammer, look wildly around for help, and then drop to your hands and knees and try to crawl away behind the sofas, in mortification.

It never works, has been proven time and again. We have always been the first responders in all their crisis, we spent billions on them. We created an island with our money to jointly patrol the waters. Now they want our soldiers out. In such a situation, we can act minnow and loose all our hard earned money or we can tell them to take a hike, do whatever you want to do, we ain't withdrawing.

Just watch our government cave in without a bleat. All our hard-earned money was spent before, all our goodwill was squandered now.

Where have you seen this martial spirit, to talk with such confidence about it?

Even our generals talk about how difficult it was to negotiate with the Chinese for a withdrawal, when they kept reminding us that our PM had said in Parliament that no one had entered, no one remained.
