I just want to go back to the original topic. Help me understand the procurement process that Hezbollah may have gone through. Based on how the supply chain may have been hijacked and hungary and bulgaria were having mossad shell companies supplying such parts and material to Hezbollah, to whom did they place the order with?

Second, replacing the batteries would have affected the life of the device which would have caused suspicions on at least the quality of the product and spurred into action an investigation with the manufacturer.

There can be a limit to how much a government can influence an industrial giant because it has economic leverage and principles.

You’re really given no choice in the matter. If you want to use computers you have to agree to let them collect and use your private data. Almost no one actually reads the privacy agreement.

Sometimes they don’t even tell you what they’re doing. A while ago I upgraded to Windows 11. After several months of using it I found that all my private data, eg. the Documents folder, was automatically being uploaded to Microsoft OneDrive. My local drive didn’t even have a copy of my Documents folder, it was all uploaded to Microsoft’s servers. I’m an experienced computer user and I still didn’t know what they were doing. Interesting. Seems like a lot of work setting up a shell company to make it look like a real intermediary. All that just for randomly exploding pagers. Doesn't appear too efficient to me even though it may be effective.

It wasn't a big thing, all you need is 2 or 3 people and an address, and those people don't really need to be in the know. And you can set up hundreds of those entities in weeks, as long as you have the money.

That's the thing about shell/shill, once you are busted, you just close it and set up in another place. It depends on the intelligence level of the work, if you are just talking about a few thousand pager, I seriously doubt the connection run very deep. It probably at the level of what we refer to as "Prison Yard" level connection, ie, a friend of a friend's, or it can simply just pure business. If you are talking about Hezbollah wide or high-level target being killed in this, that probably would be another story.
