Israel’s Genocide in Gaza | 2023- till present

Because hebollah doesn't have the capacity to fight a state military. It's a local militia.

It's like people go into stupid mode and dont understand the difference between a state military and a irregular force

The objective of the resistance is constant harassment whilst soaking up punishment, to put them into a position where one day they can deal a killer blow

Hezbollah may have greater options backed up by other resistance forces, but they are still a irregular movement without a air force, navy, air defences etc

The crux is that Iran and other major states can keep Israel in constant conflict and a state of madness

All the while population, demographics, changing narrative and support across the world, International law and bodes slowly take their toll

Israel in the meantime has lost thousands of its own citizens or forces, had major economic impact.
It's north and south has seen a emptying of citizens. Others have left the country and gone back to their original country.
None of this is easy, and the point of resistance is to gradually wear Israel down through harassment and let the population demographics do the rest

For sure, it is a War of Attrition. What else can the Resistance do?? The Algerians, the Afghans vs the Soviets, the Afghans vs NATO, the Vietnamese vs the Americans. They all were long wars where the weaker parties/natives paid very heavy price to gain their sovereignty. Why should it be different for the Palestinians/Arabs, as painful as it is to even say? Who is really helping them other than Iran through proxies? Where is Russia? Where is China? In contrast, Israel has America and its rich, powerful allies firmly behind Israel.

Losing a dozen commanders in a group that has over 100,000 members doesn't mean its leadership is gone. Those commanders can be replaced.

If they withdraw, what is the point of being a resistance movement when your entire section of Lebanon is facing an scotched-earth campaign?

Perhaps their leadership has been told to stand down.

100,000 members can do thing if they don’t have leadership

Israel has taken out over 500 commanders of the field

Hezbollah comms is Compromised

Israeli genocidal terrorism and mass murder of civilians is being deployed in Lebanon right now, and no condemnation of any kind by the international community or regional community.

As happened in the south.

The Israeli army warns the residents of the Lebanese Bekaa to stay away from homes in preparation for a wave of bombing on the Bekaa.

Israel declares war by bombing

This is perhaps the case. There is truly something odd about how Hezbollah's response is turning out to be. 👇

Yes, there are economic and other costs of a war but I don't think they matter much during the war. Israel's stated war goals are de-arming Gaza and defanging Hezbollah, this can be done by the war being dragged well in to 2025 or by a ceasefire brokered by West/Arabs. Israel's demographic challenges, strategic depth etc don't really effect the said war, as they are not even fighting a conventional war with a country.

You are right: In the ongoing war, the demographics and strategic depth are not big factor.
The war's dragging will be determined by the Americans as they are the one supplying Israel. If/when America stops then you'd see Europe, as if on a cue, would also stop supplying. And Americans are too preoccupied with the upcoming elections. Netanyahu very carefully timed attacking Lebanon in light of the American elections.

Exactly

Suddenly everyone forgets the costs of resistance

Algerians lost a million people
Vietnamese suffered greatly

There is a Hindu mindset that our people in south Asia always deride and insult, and people often don't understand it anymore
It's because time has passed but it's to do with the way the Hindus showed such meekness in the face of attack
Really it was just a human response, when you don't teach people that they have the option to fight back against oppression and occupation

The Palestinians have lost a lot but they are closer to freedom then at any point in the last 30 years, all the Israeli did was ensure that regional hatred for the Jew burns brighter then ever

What people failed to comment about.
Hezbollah is now in a situation where it has lost almost all of its electronic communication ability. They are back to land line phones ( such as the network may exist) and runners for anything tactical or operational. Disaster!!!

Why do you think Pagers are not working in Lebanon? Out of possibly 100,000+ pagers, about 3000 exploded. Doesn't mean the rest are compromised and even if they were, not hard to open them and find out. Why hasn't been any more Pagers blowing up after Day One of the blow ups?

Iraqis lost leadership when Saddam was overthrown. The Sunni Arabs then regrouped into several armed resistance groups and put up serious fights that we saw in Ramadi, Fallujah, Haditha, Mosul, and other towns in central Iraq.

Former American senator John McCain stated in his presidential campaign that the US was about to be defeated until the Awakening Councils were introduced by General Petraeus.

If there is a will to fight in the senior leadership of Hezbollah, they could put up a serious fight. Something is very odd what is happening within that movement. It looks like they've been compromised from inside.

By mass murder of civilians ? This is a Jewish fundamentalist terrorist organization
