stream of fighters and they were bogged down for 20 years.

Too many fighters assembled fast in a territory theyre bot familiar with, will only create command and logistic problems.

Better as you said send them in small irregulsr sized batches so they can be incorporated and acclimitized to the battlefield in southern Lebanon.

Which means american resources will have to be divided into the three major theaters of conflict.
