I dont understand why you would not target these areas - but insist on places like haifa? Where is the military logic? Look how closely packed those tanks are.

The guy was in the negotiations, he knew Arafat, hamas guys , he is one much much more than your usual so called analyst
He understands the history and theology of the religion truly, without being condescending or biased

Every Monday he has a video, watch it
Alistair Crooke needs to be careful bro. The Jews will have him taken out…..

This capability, built over many years by Military Intelligence, was non-existent during the Second Lebanon War when there was no idea where he was hiding, and the dossier on him was minimal, if not operationally useless.
In other words, for around these 18 years, they co-opted spies within the IRGC.

If I were counterintelligence, I would start a deep investigation into the rising officers who have achieved high positions within the IRGC over the last 18 years.

They are probably not near the border yet.

Once they get close to the border then Hezbollah can target with heavy mortars and ATGMs.

may or may not be true but something to remember: one ballistic missile can lead to hundreds of red alerts issued over a large area. suggesting a huge rocket barrage when in reality it's just one missile.
as predicted, it was likely one SSM

the second Hezbollah ballistic missile fired so far

If they get close to the border - they will be in dispersed military formations - so much harder for a single rocket or missile to take out 2-3 of them with one shot. If you can go down as far as Tel Aviv and the West Bank, then you should be lobbing rockets at these locations.

Maybe some people are in for a shock, but ballistic missiles it is not a one all solution and Hezbollah's ability to strike strategic infrastructure in Israel was not guaranteed.

It's likely right now Hezbollah is making internal arrangements and regrouping after the blows. So we don't know their true potential yet.

But it should be obvious since 2012 in Gaza, that the strategy for resistance factions has to be to overwhelm Israeli defenses. And I hope Iran was taking that seriously and equipped them to be able to do that. With the knowledge that Israel will try to take out much of those capabilities in beginning days of attacks. And you have to have a solution to protect those assets and ability to deploy them in a manner that overwhelms Israeli defenses. Otherwise you put yourself at a big disadvantage.

Hezbollah fired more than 8000 rockets into Israel so far. That's much more than Hamas did in that same time period

It may not actually be large. The rockets cross that path but it can be 10-15 rockets setting off all those alarms. Apparently, Israeli's are claiming it's one short range ballistic missile:

Debris from Israeli interceptors can also cause red alerts (warning citizens to take shelter)
