Of course. That is why I participated in the same prayer.

One thing is for sure. Allah cannot bless efforts with success that are non existent. Unless you disagree with that.
We don’t know the extent of anyone’s contributions, there is a friend who lives in Germany, who works at a Kebab shop minimum wage type deal.

Since the conflict started he has donated 40% of his meagre salary to PRCS. And I know he’s got it hard because he has two sisters to support back in Pakistan who’s weddings he’s saving for.

Point being, I agree with you that effort has to be physical and not just spiritual, for even when the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) recited Hasbunallahu Wa Nimal Wakeel — he instructed the Sahaba to dig trenches and preparations for battle.

Overall, we don’t know what is in the breast of other men, each to our own efforts large or small, the left hand not nothing what the right gives, and for some who with meagre means or facing trials of their own, even a simple dua is worth something.

My two cents.

Of course. No one knows anyone else’s efforts here. Including mine.

Allah knows best and sees all. Inside the hearts of all men and women too.

The oppressed are doing their best, rest of us can make dua.

I hope you have no issues with my this response to your above troll comment.

...You can Delete this one too, if it helps your cause. Thanks
I don’t think @VCheng is trolling, he’s a very intelligent person, someone who’s insight and opinion I do highly respect and value.

Sometimes people who are highly intellectual can rub people off the wrong way. (That sounds dirty) 🤣

How valid is this? And if it is true, it further supports the assessment that a wider conflict is now unavoidable.

-edit- typo due to sausage fingers.

I can be responsible only for what I say and do and not what others might think of it. Good or bad. In this thread too.

I think it underscores the unity of the axes of resistance (Syria-Palestine-Yemen-Iraq-Lebanon-Iran) and the fact that Israel's genocidal campaign in Gaza has already created a regional conflict (albeit one of relatively low intensity for now)

A wider conflict is best avoided. The human suffering can only increase. Not good.
I completely agree it will serve no one and this is why the great powers need to apply the breaks and do it fast.

The Yemeni have nothing to lose by entering a conflict. I can see that the US have their backs against the wall as whatever limited tactical options they have available almost certainly involve the use of force.

The problem here will be if said force inadvertently sends up targeting civilian infrastructure, we will see mounting casualties.

For reference: there are 32 active humanitarian crises that are being dealt with globally right now

All of which require donor funding, deployment of personnel and resources, there is considerable donor fatigue due to ongoing crisis in Ukraine etc, and global coffers are not limitless.

A wider prolonged conflict helps no one. So this rubbish needs to be hit on the head.

A wider conflict is inevitable. There are no 'guard-rails' here or in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Biggest issue is that Israel has to not only crush the Gazans but also seems to be doing that. And Russia and China, by their abstentions in the UNSC Res. about something 'legal' like Houthis should stop bombing the ships in Red Sea, makes it clear: Russia and China are not going to give America/NATO/WEST any room.
This stupid, warmongering, self-proclaimed lifelong Zionist President is taking down America for a tiny remote piss-ant cowardly country in the Middle East. The $ucker doesn't even die! I'd take Kamala Harris as President in a heartbeat--nothing could be worse than this old has-been guy!!

To be honest, Biden has been a complete disaster for the US.

Coming back to Palestine as per data published on ReliefWeb the official figure of casualties in Gaza are estimated to be 23,357 out of which 9,600 are children.

Utterly horrific toll that figure. And unforgivable as a collective failure.
