Last time, the Iranians couldn't do much, not when Israel was using its stealth aircraft. If I remember correctly, Israel launched on Iranian targets from within Iraq.

Iron Dome is not designed to take out ballistic missiles at first place. Google a bit on it.

Iron Dome only protects against home made palestinians rockets.

There's David sling & Arrow ABM systems to counter Ballistic missiles but they have extremely low percent chance to intercept a BM and zero percent chance to intercept hypersonic missiles. These iranian missiles were well above important sites & Tel aviv, it would have been foolish to not try & intercept those. But the problem is Israelis have no solution to intercept high supersonic or Hypersonic missiles.

I really doubt if any Zionist planes make it to Iran and try to attack Iran will have an airfield to land back on.

Iran seems really serious this time as this was an extremely powerful strike that dealt a significant blow to the military capabilities of the entity.
