This was Israeli problem last time
It's easy bombing from the air using American bombs and jets with the moñey they have jew'ed out of the U.S tax payer
But on the ground, with Hezbollah holed up in underground traps and buckers aiming to pop up and hit Israeli it becomes difficult
It's near impossible to keep hold of territory in such circumstances
Even if you take it, it's a nightmare keeping hold of it

It is eminently in the Chinese and the Russian interests to keep the Americans occupied in another Middle East war: Deflects the American attention from Taiwan and Ukraine, respectively. No one should be one bit surprised if Russia/China are indirectly helping: Communication, intelligence sharing, missile technology and of course they support via UNSC.

@FuturePAF : If you saw the VP debate last night between J. D. Vance and Tim Walz, you probably notice how Walz deflected the very first question fielded to both candidates about whether they would support Israel's attack on Iran. Walz, after the usual required Hamas bashing, didn't answer the question. Vance did support but he too was careful in using his words. Had it been Trump, he would have said things like 'Yeah, flatten Iran'.

An air defense system that “lets” some ballistic missiles through.is this a play on words to say it failed to intercept dozens of ballistic missiles. Iran already publicly announced the targets and it appears all of them were hit. Don’t assume these are inaccurate missiles. The effectiveness will be known by israel and the US and they clearly censor such reports.

Also, it appears to me that Israelis are somewhat downplaying the Hezbollah contributions to yesterday's attack for some reasons. Maybe a bit embarrassing because, per the NY Times, Israelis/Americans think half of Hezbollah arsenal is destroyed recently. Or the Israelis want to bring Iran into sharp relief to mount the war on Iran. @Hassan Al-Somal , @Persian Gulf , @UKBengali
