You are missing Forrest for the trees .... israeliese didn't start this whole Gambit for pinprick strikes on Iran and then chest thumping .... silence from the Arab countries is not telling you anything ?.......end goal is to cripple Iran's war making capabilities and destroy her nuclear facilities .... completely destroy Hamas and hezbulla ....creation of truncated Palestinian state .... recognition and assimilation of Israel in the body politics and economy of middle East ..,.....I will not give any weight to the statements of erdogan and other Muslim leaders .....all of them want to see Iran humiliated and crippled .........what are US interests ? She wants to impose peace in the middle East so that she fully divert her resources to Asia Pacific........what are China and Russia interests ? They want to see US embroiled in the middle East for a long period ...... statecraft is a dirty job .....morality has no room in it .

Israel seems to live in la la land.
Iran is a geographically huge country while Israel is tiny with most of economy and population concentrated in 2-3 small cities. Which means a retaliation from Iran is a existential threat.
