No,

no, no, let him doing... He is the minister that Israel deserves. He is destroying his own country. Just give him a match and with his gasoline he will burn It all.

That's what I thought!
Besides, Israelis very carefully present white faces to the Western world. Having a darker colored prominent member of the Israeli govt with a prominent skull-cap sends a different signal to the white Western people. Speaking of skull caps, I notice a lot of time the Israeli officials either don't wear the skull cap in public appearances, especially in the West or the cap is so small, so far back of their head that one can't even tell.
These people are masters of manipulation!

Thomas Friedman, another Israeli Firster in America, is one of those guileful Israelis who use the jugglery of words to hide the Israeli expansionism. Look at this article where, after giving quite thrashing to Iran, he is trying to present a 'balanced' side. But notice how he and people like @Solomon2 never go into the details about what that 'Two State Solution' would like! If a Bantustan was acceptable then, yes, Israel had offered that in 2000 Camp David!
Bolded part: Notice the choice of words. While he is trying to appear 'balanced', and he knows that any inch of the West Bank is illegally occupied, he is NOT calling for reversing the land-grab! And he is using 'once Palestinians meet the legitimate security requirements' like words to give Israel the cover to keep the status quo, which is really a status quo of expansionism!
But, as usual, the Comments to this article are not charitable to him. Learned Americans have figured out Israel!

...
But I don’t stop there. We also need to sharpen the choices for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel: We must not be in the business of making Israel safe so that a radical messianic government can annex the West Bank. If we are going to keep resupplying Israel with missiles and even dispatch U.S.-run missile systems, Bibi needs to purge the settler lunatics from his cabinet, forge a national unity coalition and agree to open talks with a reformed Palestinian Authority — with a new technocratic cabinet led by credible leaders like former Prime Minister Salam Fayyad — on a two-state solution.

That would pave the way for the U.A.E. and other moderate Arab states to deploy troops to Gaza and for Saudi Arabia to normalize relations with Israel and forge a security agreement with Washington.

Let me put this as clearly as I can: This crisis in the Middle East will not end until Israel clearly defines its eastern border and declares that everything beyond it is reserved for a Palestinian state in the West Bank, once Palestinians meet the legitimate security requirements Israel needs to accept a two-state solution. Israel needs to be out of the Jewish settlements business — now. Israel’s creeping West Bank annexation is destroying its legitimacy as a democracy, when its self-defense requires all the friends it can get in the region and beyond.

Even more important, though, this crisis in the Middle East will not end until Iran, in effect, defines its western border and declares that everything beyond that is for the Lebanese, Syrians, Yemenis, Iraqis, Israelis and Palestinians to decide — so long as they respect Iran’s legitimate security needs. Iran needs to be out of the Islamic imperialism business.

The Harris vs Trump debate. This is what I wrote to my friends just now.

It is not an easy debate to decide Trump vs Harris. I don't think either are a good choice except I'd put my weight behind Harris. I don't want to solely focus on the Middle East conflict but also as an American: What kind of America we want? Something like @~XXXX was saying: A more progressive America for his kids to grow up in. While I don't have any kids of my own I can see his POV. As for the Middle East conflict, I encourage you to read this from the Anti Defamation League's Abe Foxman. I have hated this guy--another Israel Firster in America. Here he is arguing to vote Harris because, per him, Trump represents an old bigoted America which is inherently anti-Jewish. But the Comments to this article are generally critical of Foxman by the Israelis who think Trump would be a much better bet for Israel--and I agree with those Israelis' perception of Trump. In short, the Jewish opinion is not a monolithic one: They are finding good and bad in both Harris and Trump. But the Jews living in Israel are overwhelmingly pro Trump because he is more likely to advance Israel's causes while the Jews in America are more about their own domestic situation in America where the bigotry of Trump's 'base' is a danger to them--and I agree with those American Jews--and their perception is like @XXXX's perception being an American-first. My own perception remains: Despite all the faults, the Democratic Party represents a progressive future of America while the Republicans less so. Anyway, here is the Foxman article and the Comments to that; as I keep saying, I put more faith in the Comments than in articles/Op-eds. https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/the-most-important-vote-us-jews-will-ever-cast/

If I were to pick the five best people who know the American political system with deep knowledge about foreign policy then it would be Matthew Hoh, Max Blumenthal, Chas Freeman, Larry C. Johnson and Ray McGovern.
Starting to watch this video and early into this video, Chas is right in saying that Netanyahu 'clearly wants Trump to win'. He goes beyond that and saying that the Biden administration is getting alarmed about Netanyahu's desire.
Remember guys: For many weeks I have been boldly saying that, when it comes to this conflict, if you are in a Swing State, then vote for Kamala Harris. She couldn't be worse than Biden or Trump!

I completely agree, changing politics is not about letting a Zionist scum bag like trump in

The Democrats are not much better, but we can affect CHANGE if we use our numbers reach out to allies and start a movement

We don't even necessarily need to turn the U.S into anti Israel, we just need to make them more equal and reasonable
That in of itself will destroy Israel

So if your protest vote gets in trump, you have just shot yourself in the foot

Thank God there is at least ONE person who here who can see what I have been saying here for many days!
I have been through this 'vote your conscience' thingy before during the Nader 2000 campaign and even donated $ to him. What was the result? GW Bush won as Nader's vote split the progressive vote, while Gore would have been a better President, just as Harris is the better one compared with Trump, IMO. If people still want to vote their conscience, then do so in Non Swing States--which I may end up doing by voting for Jill Stein. But don't hand over the Presidency to Trump by voting Jill in a Swing State.

If the Muslims/Arab constituency in America had some grand vision then they would, as a block, convey to Harris that we will vote for you this time given the circumstances but if you betray us then we will organize better to make sure you'd be defeated next time!

Still a developing story.

Israel is like a wild dog. Totally out of control. Everyone is a target. Women, children, babies, UN soldiers, municipalities, mayor's and the list goes on.

It amazes me how the Muslim world allowed this mad dog to be armed to the teeth. Really is pathetic.

It can basically target civilians anywhere within 1000km with ease and decimate entire towns too seemingly endlessly.

We must end it now!

Translation:
Enough hypocrisy.Netanyahu himself has already said that he does not intend to allow settlements in Gaza. But those who are nevertheless in favor of settlement in the Gaza Strip - first raise their hand in favor of a service outline that will allow the IDF manpower for its missions, and then produce conferences.Otherwise - who exactly will keep? Who will enable security? Those who have been collapsing under the burden for over a year in the reserves? Or the regular soldiers who repeatedly extend their service?First you vote - then you produce conferences.

Some Palestinians have sought refuge in bombed-out homes because there are no shelters, according to Nebal Farsakh

We've been focusing on Lebanon for the past few hours - but let's turn our attention back to Gaza, where the Hamas-run health ministry says Israeli strikes have killed 65 people in the past 24 hours.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says the situation in northern Gaza is "beyond catastrophic" - and the constant threat of air strikes means "there is no safe place" for Palestinians to shelter.

Spokeswoman Nebal Farsakh tells BBC News that delays in aid deliveries - the first aid in two weeks arrived on Monday - have caused "even more human suffering".

"Children, women are being attacked, many are losing their lives," she says. "Many of the injured bleed to death without being able to receive emergency medical services."

Two days ago, the UN said more than 400,000 people, external were still in northern Gaza.

Lebanon's PM condemns Israeli attack on Nabatieh

Lebanon's prime minister has condemned the Israeli strikes on Nabatieh - which his office say "intentionally targeted a meeting of the municipal council".

Prime Minister Najib Mikati says "this new aggression, coupled with all the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against civilians, is a design of the world that is deliberately silent about the crimes of the occupation, which encourages it to persist in its transgression and crimes".

He also questions the use of demanding a ceasefire from the UN, "if all the countries of the world are unable to deter a blatant aggression against the Lebanese people.

"What can deter the enemy from its crimes that have reached the point of targeting peacekeeping forces in the south? What solution can be hoped for in light of this reality?"
