So how does Saudia Arabia explain this in the context of being "neutral" ? How is allowing Israel to use Saudi airbase to intelligence gather/spy on Iran, being "neutral" ???

Don't think an attack is certain as in blows Iran will come out on top due to superior offensive firepower and there are more targets to hit in Iran - 10x as many.

I personally think that Iran will respond to even a "face saving" strike as Iran would want to come out on top to restore its deterrence.

I think Israel will do a "face saving" attack as you call it. IMO, Iran may ignore it if there's nothing significant material loss. Instead a direct confrontation, Iran is more comfortable supporting Hezbullah. However, if the losses are significant then Iran will retaliate. That's why I think Israel will be careful in its attack to not escalate to a degree where it again has to face volley of missiles from Iran.

TP II went up the escalation ladder’. There is deterrence for a while.

But these ‘terms’ are foreign constructs and a foreign game. Iran doesn’t seem to be playing that game.

So kind of weird yes they have struck Yemen terribly in the past but this seems definitely preemptive striking like something really big is about to occur and they’re trying to limit the Houthi from responding and they keep mentioning all plans are ready for Iranian attack could be overthinking.

Many so called analysts were saying for days, oh Israel will attack Nuclear facilities OR Israel will attack Iran's oil & gas infrastructure. I wonder how these people call themselves as "analysts". I was saying from day 1 that Israel will NOT attack nuclear or oil/gas. It will only do an attack on military installations just like what Iran did. Good to be proved correct. It was obvious! Though attack is yet to be done, but it will be a limited strike as Israel literally have no other options.

Background is that during Saudi-Qatar conflict several years ago, Iran practically saved Qatar from total blockade, and Saudi blockade became pointless... Qatar is neutral, promoting itself as Switzerland in the ME...

They are not enough haters of Iran by Israeli opinion, logically, even poor Fatah in their eyes are too extreme with pathetic Mahmoud Abbas, although idf is terrorizing inhabitants of west bank...
