You can go back to the Israeli websites' archives from just a few days ago. But you can call it mere 'perception' if it pleases you.
Self? Why not use that word? Israel has itself scripted the policies which are leading Israel to a path of destruction. As far back as 2002 there was the Saudi offer of peace along the 1967 lines but you rejected that; the Saudis would have brought the entire Islamic world along but Israel refused.
I don't think, in your love for Israel, you truly realize that a horrible future awaits Israel unless it quickly and drastically mends it ways--but then even that maybe too late for Israel after having done the historic butchery in Gaza and Lebanon.

The countries you mention are all secular state with secular armies, there is nothing Islamic about the Indonesian army, Turkish army, Nigerian etc.
Indonesia, Turkiye, Morocco, and basically every country on earth right now are what is called nation states, based on European model after the treaty of Westphalia.
The only way to reconstruct these nation and their armies into an Islamic one is through constant combat and warfare, where the traditional borders fade away.

What does this imply to you ? Islam is only complete with a clear chain of leadership.
Unlike what the secularists, the orientalists try to convince you, Islam is not only a religion but an entire political system. The problem is today, Muslims treat their religion the way the secularists and orientalist wanted them to...as a mere private issue, where there's a disconnect between the ibadah and the political situation around them
They think that Islam = going to the mosque, fasts, go to hajj, pay the zakat...and then die.
When Islam as exemplified by Muhammad and its companions is a creed + political system + military might to protect :
1. The blood of its followers from being spilled by rejectors and infidels

This is why unlike Jesus, the prophet Muhammad doesn't stop with preaching, instead he built a state (the state of Medina) complete with its governorship, tax collectors, and most importantly...an army.

Now this system of :
- Qur'an and Sunnah as constitution
- A head of state (Caliph/Sultan etc) who is sworn to follow that constitution
- An army that defends the land and interest of Islam
The fall of the Caliphate and the subsequent rise of polity that calls themselves nations states (modeled after the European, not Islamic style of governance) saw the rise of :
- Secular state who throws the Quran and Sunna into the dustbin, in their place is man made secular law that they agreed upon in a room they called parliament according to their whims
- A head of State that swore to defend that man made constitution
- an army
These armies you're looking at, when their soldiers entered the academy, they were sworn to protect a piece of land, not Islam. The Indonesian soldiers swore to protect Indonesia, the Turkish soldiers swore to protect Turkey etc etc.
Meanhwile, as the Islamic world fragment into separate political entity, with very different interests. The Jewish and Western enemy cooperated with one another.
So when, Palestinians are being butchered, the people who calls themselves Muslims could only lament how incapable their respective governments are to defend fellow Muslims. The thing is, as part of a secular state with secular spirit, these countries are in no way obliged to help, because they are not a nation formed on top the brotherhood of Islam, rather they are a made up nations (often their borders are drawn by colonial powers) that is built in the spirit of literal worship of the land.

These Two billion people are now living in an un-islamic polity, a polity that the prophet nor his companion exemplified and yet you guys complain how these European modeled nation are unable to defend Muslims. These nation states , most of them are ruled by islamophobe secularists like Hasina of Bengladesh, Soharto of Indonesia, Pahlevi of Iran, Sisi of Egypt etc, So how do you expect Muslims to fight ?
So when you put aside these three pillars that makes Islam a power in the past :
- Qur'an and Sunnah as constitution
- A head of state (Caliph/Sultan etc) who is sworn to follow that constitution
- An army that defends the land and interest of Islam
