🇺🇸 Former CIA Officer Reveals THAAD System Limitations

Philip Giraldi, a former CIA officer, wrote on X about the limitations of the THAAD system:

The U.S. has only 9 THAAD systems, each launcher having only 8 missiles.
If Iran were to launch 100 missiles at Israel, even assuming a 100% perfect performance by the 2 systems sent by the U.S. to Israel, 84 Iranian missiles would bypass the system.

Lockheed Martin has produced only a 1000 missiles for this system, with each missile costing $12.5 million.


💬 Note: Iran has at least 500,000 ballistic missiles that can be ready to launch in a short time.

But Iran is not prepared to engage vis a vis militarily with a Israel supported by USAF/US Navy and some Europeans air forces (it is discarded spanish one and probably italian or greek ones) german and united kingdom being not european would follow. The conflict must be protracted and the priorities should be;

1º.- Help HZ and houthies to win the war.
2º.- Rebuild the IRIAF as you suggested many times.
3º.- Reinforce the IADS with dozens of Bavar 373 battalions enough to cover nearly all Iran airspace.
4º.- Develop military nuclear capability.

But answering directly and in a higher scale to Netanyahu would be a mistake. Iran could answer in Lebanon transferring new weapons and training personnel for the volunteers (I am pretty sure there are converging hundreds of volunteers among the entire Middle East and beyond) and reinforcing anti aerial capabilities of Houthies. There was announced some months ago a new antiship missile by IRGCN probably stealth or supersonic. Those can be transfered to Houthies for example.

The way you hype up the incompetent US military, one would quickly forget Afghanistan and Iraqi resistance defeated US and US is most likely unable to muster large enough forces and ammunition to fight Iran effectively today, because nato and US overinvested In a disaster- its called Ukraine. Ukraine is natos waterloo. Iran, China amd Russia will not stop supporting Russia's war against neonazi Ukraine because it is degrading NATO as we speak. You normally.post well but this post smells of desperation mixed with disconnect from natos military reality today- NATO is actually weak, if it was strong ,it wouldn't need to fight AS A COALITION. It's feels so threatened when Russia and N. Korea enact their military partnership- just 2 countries! Vs NATOs 10s of countries. I say that todsy ,US cannot mount the large air campaign that's needed to try to destroy Iran- don't evencmention the non existent ground forces that are needed. US just seems to be getting into worse and worse trouble everyday.

Iran needs to be wary of Russia especially if they're serious about war with Israel. Russia is also "HOLOCAUST WWII HITLER!" not much different from western alliances when it comes to Israel. With these slimy zionists and their connections to Russian oligarchs the consequences for Iran could be bad.

US and Israel today are unable to muster the heavy attack on Iran required to damage large Iran considerably ( Iran constantly workong to improve its military capabilities for a few decades also prevented this). War is logistics, if you don't have the proper and effective logistics for the requires military operations(which are are risky even with good logistics ) , you already lost the war.

There is no way on earth that Iran has HALF A MILLION ballistic missiles. Do some maths:

The ballistic missiles are also very costly. Even if we give huge discount and assume that one intermediate range ballistic missile costs only 0.5 million dollar. Then that means half a million ballistic missiles will cost 2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS!!

Why you guys make such statements ?

IMO Indian navy did good work to complete their task even if it was assisting genocide. However the sad part is they were not even invited to the fancy western coalition and are not credited with their efforts to the point where even Indians are unaware of their assistance in this effort:

India was indeed invited to this coalition but India choosed to operate separately..... and this was not for assisting genocide.... Houthis were except Russia and China targeting other countries cargoes including India....

i think it’s between 3-10 000, but the majority are probably short range.
