Just speculation.
The main number that needs interpreting is "J10CE9001".
Yeah, comparison with same position numbers on existing PAF birds may give us a better understanding. I’ve been trying to do that but struggling to find enough close up / hi res pics.Greatidea … I will check this with other images of other older aircraft
Only PAF has that two tone with the grey across the rib and wings - it’s signature PAF camo. Also new... the J-10CE cn. 9001 revealed yesterday is not yet wearing any customer's markings - even if IMO the PAF is most likely - but only AVIC markings, but it shows a new twin-launcher for PL-12 AAMs under the centerline station.

Is it possible that this is just a repainted existing PLAAF J-10C for display purposes? And they painted it in PAF colors as that's the only Export reference they have. Also new... the J-10CE cn. 9001 revealed yesterday is not yet wearing any customer's markings - even if IMO the PAF is most likely - but only AVIC markings, but it shows a new twin-launcher for PL-12 AAMs under the centerline station.

One way to tell would be the datalink antennas, I remember there being a difference between PAF and PLAAF.
