United States elections 2024: Donald Trump Wins

Shariah law would be stupid idea, because American society is not build for that and one can not force a nation into a system which they will never accept, forget about Shariah you can't even stop American girls from wearing bikinis at beaches.

What @Davey Crockett is saying is not far from the truth. The word Shariah has developed very negative connotations in the West because of propaganda, but there is nothing sinister about it. It’s the body of law that developed in Islamic societies over centuries.

One area where sharia is really effective is in criminal law. It has draconian punishments for crimes like theft, murder etc. The reasoning behind is to deter crime by giving exemplary punishments. In the West soft punishments mean that the law is protecting criminals at the cost of their victims.

In countries where sharia law is applied the crime rate is extremely low compared to Western countries. Family law is another area. Rates of divorce, extra marital sex, and all kinds of deviant behavior are low.

Some of the worst problems in Western societies are related to the breakdown in family values. Any law that reverses that trend would be beneficial.

I think you are being humorous. In the same vein, tell me one jurisdiction where Sharia law has led to good results. I will make it easier, which non-petroleum exporting Muslim country you believe is successful, worthy of being emulated by others?

Tell me a Muslim country that the US hasn’t bombed, or hasn’t threatened to bomb, or doesn’t plan to bomb and I’ll tell you the answer to your question.

Well, US went to war to save Kuwait from Saddam Hussein. U.S. went to war against Serbia to save Bosnia. So, I gave you two examples where U.S. was ready to take casualties for two Muslim countries.

It is a universally accepted belief that almost all Muslim countries have governments that are puppets of the US led West. This fact has been amply demonstrated in the US-Israeli genocide in Palestine. No Muslim country is helping them because of fear of US funded regime chance or sanctions.

If you add up the territory and GDP of Muslim countries then in totality it constitutes a superpower. However, their biggest weakness is lack of unity which makes them targets of aggression.

The Anglo-Zionists have been in a state of war with the whole Islamic world for decades. This has resulted in many rich countries being destroyed, like Iraq and Libya. Many countries being held back from development because of sanctions, like Iran. Many countries are held back because of illegitimate US installed puppets, like Pakistan.

I can go on. But the fact that becomes clear is that if US hostility wasn’t there then the Islamic world would have been hugely better off.

I think your arguments are somewhat one sided. Many Arab and Islamic countries do not like terrorist outfits like Hamas and Hezbollah, but they are too weak to do anything about it and let someone else do the 'dirty work'. It is well known that most Gulf Arab nations have absolutely no love for Hamas, Hezbollah, etc., and their tactics. In fact, today, I saw a news that a Gaza religious leader has come out against Hamas and its tactics.

They have suffered a lot from Al-Queda, ISIS etc. and see terrorism is a destroyer of nations. Pakistan, a supporter of Taliban earlier, now probably has mixed feelings about their Pakistani counterpart.

The Arab countries you mentioned have US backed despotic rulers whose main interest is staying in power. The public considers Hamas and Hezbollah to be legitimate forces providing security to their people.

Al-Qaida, ISIS, etc are US-Israeli sponsored terror outfits.

Encyclopedias can be written on this topic. We don’t have the time and space to cover this topic here.

There’s another point I would like to make. Non-Muslims don’t seem to realize something about Islam. Even if they’re divided into 50+ countries, and seem to be hopelessly divided, almost all Muslims still feel a sense of unity with all other Muslims. This is so a lot more than Christians.

By adopting an aggressive posture with some Muslims the US has alienated all 2 billion.

I think that unity is more in theory than in practice. I can think of many examples, like:

1. Pakistan - Bangladesh war
2. Iran - Iraq War
3. Iraq - Kuwait war
4. Syrian war
5. Yemen war
6. Lebanon war
etc.,

I know many more have happened in history. These are just some I have read about in news.

I mentioned the people, not governments. The people are much more united than would seem from the squabbling despots that run these countries. Also, almost all the wars you mentioned are related to Anglo-Zionist instigation.

Also, for most of Islamic history you could travel from one end of the Islamic world to another without restriction. All these artificial countries were created by colonial powers.

This bold is exactly why I have no issue arguing or discussing something with you, cause you respect my opinion even if you don't agree, other American posters here will be like " Why do you go back to your country " blah blah.
Didn't saw your post yesterday.......

Well, I was taught something they don't teach anymore when I grew up, it's called the "middle ground". Even if I don't agree on something, that does not mean they have no value, I would much rather meet those I don't agree with in the middle than dismiss it altogether. I mean what good could I do if I just tell you "you are wrong, go back to your country" Let's say even if I am a racist mofo, I don't like black, brown or greaseball, just by telling you off does not mean I am not going to see another Pakistani in America or anywhere else, that's a fact and I have to live with it whether or not I agree or not.

People are different, that's why there are different way of thinkings, just by ignoring the other voice doesn't mean they will go away, it just can't. I remember a college friend of mine open up to me of him being gay back 20 some years ago, he thinks there is going to be an issue for him to fit in post coming out of closet. I don't like gay people, I think being gay is being weird, but the facts remain, that's his choice, I got no say in, so I told him "Would you stop being gay if the world cannot accept it?" No, that's not how this work, him being a homosexual is fine with me, as long as he didn't make a pass at me, and I am fine with that.

Strange eh? The world used to be more conservative, yet we are more liberal, and the world now is more liberal, and we are now being more conservative.
