Genuinely retarded move from Iran. No other way to describe it.
100%

I can't see the logic behind it. Entire region is on brink of war and these geniuses decided to open a front with us? Killing children. Truly a clown moment.

Yanks and Israelis would be rubbing their palms with glee.

More Attacks from Iranian side and still not a peep from our side other than that pathetic Foreign office press release. If Pakistan doesn't Responds by tomorrow morning Our Military leadership will open the way for Iranian interventions in Pakistan. Iranians need to be responded with disproportionately force that's the only way they will receive the message to fcuk off.

Iran doesn't want to fight Pakistan! It just wants terrorism to end.

Iranian actions against Pakistan was long expected as both regional and global powers don’t see Pakistan as nothing more than a banana republic. This is the unfortunate reality as even Afghanistan takes a hardline no nonsense attitude against Pakistan.

Pakistan’s weak economy and weakened internal dynamics to blame.

So far, both India and Iran have carried attacks inside Pakistan and I wouldn’t be surprised if both Afghanistan and china carry out their own strikes inside Pakistan. Both China and Afghanistan have warned Pakistan for their inaction against terror groups operating from Pakistani territory.

Is this true??? Another attack?

@RescueRanger

I really hope that's not true. Firing another round is just Iran asking for fire and blood from us.

We are more focused on our real enemy India

Iran and Afghanistan are like fleas on a dog tail. They are not a threat to the republic just a nuisance. We ignore them once a while we will flick fleas off.

Yet their actions must be responded to. If left alone, they will do it again.

This is what happens when security forces don't focus on security. Our Western borders have been open for AGES, smuggling has been facilitated with local law enforcement on the take. The same way dodgy diesel gets in an out, the same way terrorists, drugs and weapons do.

We have left this ignored for decades and now we have an emboldened Mullah regime attacking our territory, doing what it wants to defend itself, knowing that we won't escalate. We didn't retaliate against the Taliban when they attacked our border posts regularly, I sincerely suspect we won't see any retaliation other than words, unless of course the Ayatollahs are stupid enough to launch a second attack.

Even then a part of me thinks, the establishment will sabre rattle, give some statements and then sweep it under the carpet, making promises to take action against terrorists, whilst asking the Iranians to do the same.

I genuinely hope we do retaliate, tit for tat is required. Then again you'd have thought we'd have shown some tat when a Brahmos was "accidently" fired.

It seems they want retaliation?

Have they not factored this in to their thinking?

What is going on..

Iran is shrewed, it wouldn't shake hands with Pakistan and then go and bomb their territory the next day. You may hate Iranians but they're not dumb. There obviously was cooperation.
Jaish is nobody's friend, neither is the BLA, TTP etc, it doesn't justify aggression. This and the other attacks done by you takes the eyes of the world off Gaza and also Yemen. Where's the sense in blowing up children in what's probably your friendly neighbour? As if you don't have enough regional and global powers gunning for you already.

Perhaps the only rationale I can think of for these strikes -- amidst what otherwise looks like a heavily autistic decision making in Iran masquerading as realpolitik -- is the view that from Iran's perspective creating a few extra fires in the Middle East might help in persuading the US and other to back off from escalating and clipping Iranian proxies in Lebanon and Yemen for example, but that's just my hunch. But what's moronic about this is that it also deflects global attention from those same conflicts.

Now consider Paksitan for a moment. You know what pressure and enticement Pakistan withstands to maintain friendly ties with Iran? Then consider where Pakistan is internally at the moment, we have a fairly weak puppet government with little to no internal credibility, the military is in charge of Pakistan's defence and foreign affairs. And this attack is done on their watch. You know what happened the last time something like this happened? They laid the smackdown on a much more powerful and intimidating neighbour than you. And as for the military government, it's not just that they need to appear credible before the Pakistani public, their own officers are also probably pissed right now.

So I disagree with you, I say it again, this is heavily retarded behaviour from Iran.
