There is a split within Hezbollah and Iranian base and leadership. Israel can bomb away when it comes to Lebanon and Gaza. Someone more powerful (economically/politically/militarily) will need to intervene, however. In order to compel Israel and its backers to end the genocide in Gaza. Which is the ultimate goal. This can lead to a big war due to Israeli influence over the US and NATO. The debate is it should this war be had and what would be the end game.

Hamas agrees to a ceasefire and prisoner swap since early days. Israel is demanding expulsion of Gaza residents and flattening of all of Gaza. It's telling the world we won't accept anything less than genocide of Palestinian people and expulsion of their people. Normally this would result in international backlash, sanctions, and a military coalition to establish no fly zone over Gaza. But it isn't.

It will take a week before we know where this is heading. Even if any 'incident' ie Israeli's getting a taste of their medicine, it won't stop a ceasefire. Thats more like US/Israel reassess and want to continue the war.

Biden administration works to achieve ceasefire in Lebanon but not in Gaza, which is in a much worse situation. Because the Jew Lobby wants to separate Lebanon from Gaza and isolate Gaza. Nobody is telling Gazans to do anything

There is no chance of persistence of peace in Lebanon in near future despite truces

And those who never bothered to do anything for Gaza for months can now make a new account and do cheap shots at Shiites.

Biden wants to secure a 60 day ceasefire in Lebanon. The worry here is they're just taking a break to rearm, get resupplied by America with munitions and interceptors and shells. And to wait until Trump administration is sworn in.

After which they may become more aggressive or suddenly scrap the ceasefire and make new demands.

Hezbollah would be wise to prepare for deploying much heavier firepower and be on highest alert levels, remain in battle formation. If they get comfortable they'll be at end of another surprise attack that will cripple them. They should remain on guard.
