IK should be moved to Bani-Gala, and his residence be announced as Sub-Jail.

An all party national dialogue be initiated with representation of all political parties.

Everyone should stop being egoistic and just give space.

In the end, it will eventually be negotiated in meetings but it's already too late to stop the damage being caused.

Pakistan is economically, socially, politically and even militarily weak with fault lines successfully exploited by our enemies.

What for?
At this point these khotas in secretariat will do anything to save face short of resigning. When you have one of the senior most former Pakistani diplomats commenting on this farce of a government and how the only option left open to them is one of stepping down...

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf convoy has reached Islamabad's D-Chowk, but they will not leave until they receive orders from Imran Khan.

Addressing the workers at D-Chowk, the CM claimed that the government had initiated a 'fascist approach,' but the PTI intend to hold a peaceful protest.

He added, "This is our country, and we are here to free it. No one can impose their decisions on us."

Thanks for the reply, though I wonder how many within the country/PTI will allow the COAS or others to go scott-free.

If IK comes back to power, he will need to investigate the 'stolen' elections and everything else that has happened, which means revealing the entire establishment network within the Army, your election commission, police, etc... How is anyone to make sure the person replacing Asim Munir, isn't part of the establishment to begin with? In most cases, its the Bureaucrats and senior officials who will sabotage the new govt. from within to ensure the status quo does not change.

Investigation also means ensuring those guilty are found and punished legally, if no investigation is done, there is no way to cleanse your system. Imran Khan will be like placing a band-aid on a wound that needs surgery.
It definitely would require investigations, but it’s not the man as much as it’s the system. Poland’s junta general was allowed to continue to live in Poland after the end of communism, but the system the communist built up had to be dismantled. Per Munir could be kept to aid in investigations.

This is why I have always said the PTI needs to raise funds to fund a transition, and line up people for key positions, capable of helping to make the transition possible; people to do oversight.

To provide flexibility to PTI to back off. Tactical measures while negotiations sort out the situation.
Won’t that ease the pressure on the establishment, and make them not want to negotiate in good faith?

Kicking the can down the road has to end, so it’s good that IK called it his final call.
