Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Rallies / Protests

IG was threatening children 'ham aap ka character certificate nhn dain gay'.

Moron BC.
He is writing his own character certificate with his actions, tarnishing his and his family’s reputation after these events play out. Shunning for generations is the least he could face. A criminal investigation could be warranted if he doesn’t stop.

I wonder what the establishment thinks is gonna happen after this.

Kab tak yeh chutyap ka nizam chalatay raho gay?
They seem to be thinking operationally and tactically, but don’t seem to have a full picture of the strategic options IK and the PTI maybe employing, in the unfolding hours and days.

The key center of gravity is perception of legitimacy (domestically and internationally) and rule of law, so IK will want to be freed by the courts and not by protestors, and have the government concede after the pressure upon them and the institutions of the state becomes unbearable.

Narrative of PTI bringing weaponry is being built up heavily on all media outlets. I fear a heavy crackdown incoming. D Chowk has already witnessed some of it

That's the usual Punjab government and police lies. I recall Model Town killings where police claimed PAT have weapons inside their headquarters, PAT quickly held press conference and invited all political leadership to attend and find the weapons. Everyone knew it was lies.

Who is leading second wave of Punjab.
Don't know about that but noticing serious activity on PTI WhatsApp broadcast channels. 6 Hiace Vans and one Toyota Coaster filled with dudes went to Islamabad some hours ago just from my ends. And this is one example.

I guess March ki success dekh kay kaafi logo ki ghairat jaag rahi hay.

But it didn't stop them from shooting pregnant women. Just like it didn't stopped them from straight firing people today. Didn't you see that ranger sniper getting caught?

Not until Trump or his family tweet is the true “kaanpien taangna” going to happen.

Right now its cold sweats but sticking to their guns
Do you think he is not speaking on Trump's behalf?

It's being reported that Bushra Bibi and Ali amin Gandapur has left for KPK after start of operation.
Is it true?

The abuse of power and brutality being shown is 2nd to none..
The protesters need a new wave from punjab.. they may disintegrate if this level of shelling and abuse keeps up all night. No human can sustain this much tear gas without proper mask and eye cover.

Shaukat basra, hamad azhar with a few dozen ppl won't cut it. We need a few dozen mini caravans which unfortunately is currently not on the way.

'Fight till last ball': Imran urges PTI supporters to continue protest until demands met
"Those who haven't yet joined protest must also head to D-Chowk," says jailed PTI founder

  • Imran lauds PTI workers for "fighting for rights".
  • Claims PTI workers remained peaceful while protesting.
  • Hails party’s "social media warriors around the globe".
Incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has praised his party workers and supporters protesting in Islamabad to secure his release from prison, urging them to “fight until the last ball is bowled”.

"I commend the Pakistani nation and PTI's political workers, who are fighting for their rights by participating in this peaceful protest, and resolutely standing before the mafia that has imposed itself upon our country, to demand their rights and genuine freedom," the jailed former prime minister said in a message posted on his official X handle.

“My message for my team is to fight until the last ball is bowled. We will not back down until our demands are met!,” he added.

Amid the government’s claims that the "PTI miscreants" were responsible for the deaths of security personnel, Imran said his party workers remained peaceful while marching on Islamabad.

“My thanks go to overseas Pakistanis around the globe, who are not only mobilising Pakistanis and contributing funds, but also holding historic protests in their respective countries,” he said.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI has staged protests in major cities of the world, including London and outside American President-elect Donald Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

Moreover, the PTI founder hailed his party’s “social media warriors around the globe”, asking them to continue to vigorously reiterate the demands that include the release of party leaders including himself from jail, revocation of 26th Amendment and the return of stolen mandate in the February 8 general elections.

“Those who haven't yet joined the protest must also head to D-Chowk. All Pakistanis participating in the protest must remain peaceful, stay united, and stand firm until our demands are met. Remember, this is a struggle for Pakistan's survival and true freedom,” he concluded.

Thousands of PTI protesters marched to Islamabad this week, defying all the obstacles and clashing with police, in response to incarcerated former prime minister’s call for a "do-or-die" protest.

Authorities have enforced a security lockdown to block the protesters while highways into the city were barricaded.

Meanwhile, the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have pushed back the marching protesters from Islamabad's D-Chowk — the venue of the party’s much-touted power show.

Geo News correspondent, who is present at the spot, reported that PTI protesters began retreating from the site following the heavy teargas shelling and action by the authorities.

The Imran Khan-founded party, in recent months, has marched on the federal capital on multiple occasions which has seen its workers clashing with the law enforcement agencies (LEAs).

Operation has started to clear the area. I am wondering where is Gandapur.

"Release Imran Khan," says Grenell, who served as Trump's ambassador to Germany

Richard Grenell, President-elect Donald Trump’s loyalist and his former intelligence chief, has called for release of incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan amid ongoing "do-or-die" protest in Islamabad.

"Release Imran Khan," Grenell — who served as Trump's ambassador to Germany and was acting director of national intelligence during Trump's 2017-2021 term — wrote on X while reposting a Bloomberg report about the PTI’s protest.

Trumps loyalist Grenell calls for Imran Khans release amid PTI protest

Following Imran’s removal from prime minister office through a vote of no-confidence, the PTI founder — who remains incarcerated at the Adiala jail since August last year — had previously alleged that the US was behind his ouster in 2022, citing a purported cipher linked with the US diplomat Donald Lu.

It is pertinent to mention here that the former premier has good relations with Trump, when he was the president, and held several meetings with the President-elect, including at the White House.

Thousands of PTI protesters marched on Islamabad this week, defying all the obstacles and clashing with police, in response to incarcerated former prime minister’s call for a protest.

The former ruling party staged protest against the "illegal" incarceration of PTI founder, other party leaders and workers, "stolen mandate" in February 8 general elections and 26th Constitutional Amendment.

Authorities have enforced a security lockdown to block the protesters while highways into the city were barricaded.

Many of the police don’t want to be there or want to support the actions of the illegitimate government. Perhaps protesters should hand flowers to police that refuse to follow orders, similar to in the anti-war protestors of the 60s in the US. The visuals on media around the world will give the movement more legitimacy.
