Security sources to Syria TV:

• The commander of the Revolutionary Guards forces in Aleppo, Kiomars Pourhashemi, was killed in a special operation inside the city of Aleppo.

HTS fighters stormed the security committee meeting at dawn today and managed to kill the Iranian general.

The meeting included all the leaders of the security branches.

Military Intelligence is investigating all the guards responsible for protecting the meeting.

The PKK sees this as both a strategic and psychological move. They think Kurdistan spans from the Mediterranean all the way to the Caspian Sea, so pushing them further east feels like a way to weaken them even more. Remember Afrin.

While Turkish Forces aren't directly taking part in this latest offensive, there's no way the Opposition could plan and carry out something like this without Turkish knowledge and technical support.

Having said that, things are different in the North. Tomorrow we'll see.
