The only clueless one is you here.
Are you forgetting about the Alawites and just lumping them in with the 85% Arabs? They compose about 15% of all of Syria's pre-war population.
As for BD, you have not got a clue. Learn a little bit about the Bengal division of Mughal empire and then make comments about BD.
You have been writing 1.000's of completely clueless posts about Syria, Arabs, Arab world for months on this forum and you have the audacity to continue to talk about cluelessness?
First of all, Einstein, Alawites are Syrian Arabs. They don't speak a Alawitic language, they don't have Alawitic names, they don't have an separate Alawitic cuisine, culture, architecture, history etc. They are Syrian Arabs who happen to have a different sect, much like the Druze.
Just like there are probably 10's of different regional dialects of Bengali, sects, historical regions etc. like in ANY significant country on earth.
Lastly the concept of Syria and Sham, as I already wrote, is one of the oldest geographical concepts on earth. We are talking about a region of earth with civilizations, empires, kingdoms etc. that far predates anything found in Bangladesh (a 52 year old nation state) and the Bengal region. Every historian would confirm that as would a simple Google search.
So I suggest to stop crying about the removal of the illegal and murderous Al-Assad dictatorship and buying a few history books about Syria and the Arab world before you continue writing 1.000's of posts on related topics, many of which are completely clueless.
