You miss the substantive point , repeatedly , so before writing you off as a waste of time....For China, Myanmar is definitely of greater importance than far off Middle East. They have no love or hate for either side of the conflict. They can always get oil at market price from anybody. If an unfriendly or unstable state develops in Myanmar, it is literally a major pain in the butt for China. Imagine an Afghanistan for Pakistan. They already have North Korea for their pet mad dog.
In this week....... the USA has further consolidated the middle east, say what you want but that's not in China's interest
The Bri is diminished with Syria falling
Russia is weaker losing it's me presence, therefore the sco is less attractive, there is now only one super power in the region
And so is BRICS weaker
Why would you think about another global system when the existing one has out maneuvered the pretenders, Saudi will stick with petrodollar,India will have a reason to distance itself to the extent it wants to, other nations will all reconsider
The reality is china is clearly trying for global influence and leadership ..
Bri, Sco, brics
So I don't know how it makes sense to remain passive... boastful yet timid? only soft diplomacy?
It seems like they have not learnt this game, I think at this trajectory Iran and Russia might decide enough sacrifice and effectively allow USA to divert to china, and offer any required concessions
Ok then china will have to directly confront, everyone else around them is spent and war tired
