As many as 19 Democratic Senators--19!!-- out of the 50 Senators strongly voted against Israel just 2-3 months ago and that too in an election year! Not a single Republican voted against Israel in that Resolution.
So either have a defeatist attitude that nothing can be changed or work with those who have at least some on your side.

It is inarguable that Hamas has paid a heavy price and Gaza has been degraded. Hezbullah also seems weaker based on its lower level of activity. The new regime in Syria and Israel's ability to control its border means Hezbollah will have difficulty getting supplies. Now they can focus their attention on degrading Houthi's capabilities. He is being fairly reasonable.

Not gonna happen. Israel can't even seem to properly Degrade Hamas, who've kept their numbers at a relatively consistent level. What are they gonna do with the Houthis, who rule an entire country and beat back US efforts to degrade them successfully.

This idea of Israeli supremacy needs to die. This entire year has proven Israel is incompetent and opportunistic, and nothing more. Their soldiers can't actually fight, and the IDF is as incompetent as other Arab armies, they just have a high tech air force and US support, which are the only reasons why Israel has an advantage.

I, too, have no hope that we can change US policy towards Israel in a meaningful way today but there are many goals in politics. Electing Harris and, through her, Muslims into Congress will have other benefits. When the American public sees Muslim Congresswomen wearing hijab on their TV, it will help to mainstream Muslims as a 'normal' part of America, not something that belongs 'out there' in the Middle East or something. Next time, people won't be so freaked out about voting for a Muslim as Governor. It will also encourage other Muslims, especially Muslim women, to become more active in politics, academia, business, etc.

With Republicans in office, the only time we will hear the word 'Muslim' will be with a negative connotation.
