It could be a series of loyal wingman drones per 6th gen aircraft.

We know one of the main basic characteristics is supposed to be this, so it would fit into the "aircraft family" idea.

The USAF 6th gen is supposed to have up to 6 loyal wingman drones accompanying one 6th gen fighter. We could see China have a similar concept in mind. Over the coming years, we could hear about potential new loyal wingman prototypes for China's 6th gen.

in fact, the quiet shocking news is the one we have seen flying in Shenyang is the SAC's 6th gen loyal wing man version, with the manned version coming very soon.

you don't need a third engine for that you can simply go from high bypass to low bypass and feed air directly to the turbine core. However, it's tricky to optimize a core for both modes of operation. i.e. a variable cycle engine example GE YF120 and JTF22 but it has been done. The added weight and complexity of a third engine doesn't justify your hypothesis.

I'm more interested in the H20 Stealth Bomber project, since if China introduces it, China will be the second nation after the US to ever deploy a Stealth Bomber in World History!

Please be reminded that neither the USSR or Russia's Tupolev Tu-160 is even a stealth bomber, and Russia doesn't have any stealth bombers comparable to the B-2 Spirit, let alone the new B-21 Raider...

Therefore, congrats to China for becoming the second nation after USA to break their monopoly of owning and deploying a soon-to-be-operational fully-fledged Stealth Bomber.

It will be a real force multiplier 10-20 times even more capable than Chinese aging H-6 bomber... And if paired with next-generation Stealthy Land-Attack Cruise Missiles, would help PLAAF a lot!
