We had the honor of answering the invitation and meeting with His Excellency the Chargé d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Damascus, the honorable brother Abdullah Al-Haris.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was and still is the big brother of Syria and the Syrian people.
One of the important things we learned today is that The Kingdom hosts about 3 million Syrians, of whom half a million have official residency and the rest are its guests. The Kingdom does not take its due rights in this area, so it must be noted and thanked.
More importantly, the Kingdom has begun to contribute to providing urgent humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people via large trucks by land, and it will conduct a massive airlift once Damascus airport becomes usable.
We also all hope that the brotherly and beloved Kingdom will soon provide all forms of economic support to the afflicted Syrian brothers after the systematic destruction of the state over decades that led to large segments of the Syrian people reaching the most severe types of poverty and the absence of the basic needs of most people.

This is a quick summary of the meeting of the Syrian-American delegation with Mr. Ahmed Al-Sharaa and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Al-Shaibani:
Mr. Al-Sharaa has a wonderful future vision, vision and strategy
A first-class speaker and a distinguished statesman.
He reads a lot and is interested in technology and developing the country.
Everyone who was present with us, from all colors of the spectrum, from religious to liberal, were impressed by what he had to say.
The Caesar Act hinders the country's development, and they are open to diplomatic action to serve the purpose of lifting the sanctions.
Mr. Al-Sharaa and Dr. Al-Shaibani graciously gave us more time than they allotted for the meeting and were very courteous.
There was a friendly but serious conversation, and we boldly asked questions and also included some suggestions.

A telephone call between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Moroccan counterpart
His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Asaad Al-Shibani, received a phone call from His Excellency the Moroccan Foreign Minister, Mr. Nasser Bourita, where the Minister affirmed Morocco’s support for the #Syrian people, and its support for #Syria’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the commonalities between the two countries.
