Hamas needs time to organize safe evacuation of Israeli captives.

Israeli bombardment on Friday greatly complicated this matter. Hamas requested 48 hours to be able to secure their release.

Israel is continuing to bomb Gaza during the ceasefire. There was no time frame allocated to release the first 3 prisoners. Except that it will be done during day one.

Israel wants a list of its prisoners to know who's alive or not. So it can quickly violate the ceasefire before phase 1 is over (42 days). It will demand the ones alive first and demand they all be released in one week.

Then it will try to quickly reinstate war on Gaza as it thinks breaking the ceasefire in its early stages will be less controversial than breaking it 42 days in.

Hamas doesn't need to give Israel any names. That's bullshit and not what Israel signed off on in the ceasefire agreement and it's a new condition Netanyahu is trying to impose.

It will not be respected. They will only get names of the specific detainees released right before they are released on the day they will be released.
