Hamas is not defeated or destroyed after 15 months of war.
 
Nazi Jared Kushner is trying to force Palestinians out of Gaza. And Hamas won't allow for that. Palestinian Authority and EU absolutely will if they take control of the borders. That's why ultimately Hamas's military wing will intervene if they try to facilitate any such kind of thing.

I won't call it a failure (postponing ceasefire from May 2024 to now), as it led to the end of Assad's rule in Syria and what appears to be a friendlier regime. This might not have been planned on October 7, but wars tend to have unintentional consequences. With a friendly Syria and weakened Iran and Hezbollah (which can't be supplied by Iran through Syria), Israel can breathe a bit more freely. That is nothing to sneeze at.

we see many Palestinians immediately risk their lives to return to the north and their homes even if they are rubble. most of them will not leave under any circumstances, because they know once they leave they may never be able to return (the lesson of their grandparents)

However there are even great differences in both Trump and Biden... Biden was not born into wealth... he probably had that envy... which drove his discourse. A catholic, who is a zionist! An oxymoron... because catholicism is not into protestant path to salvation. Trump was born into it... he subscribes to the prosperity gospel... in his own greatness... hear the sound of his own voice. He subscribes to zionism in a different spectrum where zion gets what is coming for them... while he stands smug as a true WASP! The first part is truly racial and that doesn't allign with the chosen, or their own reconciled pretense.

Many here, perhaps you too, are inclined to draw some parallels between the Hezbollah-Israel war of 2006. Hezbollah survived and thus had 'won' that war. However, the circumstances for Hezbollah then--and probably even now--are different than those of the Gazans: Hezbollah had a fairly robust supply line and I think despite the toppling of Assad, Hezbollah may still get the supplies from Iran via Syria. The new setup in Syria is certainly not pro Israel in the long terms!! But Gaza is a tale of defeat, of betrayal and of opportunism by some Arab countries and Turkey. I don't foresee a turnaround in our lifetime--well, I am in my 50s so I don't know about others' lifetime.

The Muslim World is also a 'more Narcissist World'. I had said multiple times above: Islam is about 600 year younger than Christianity and Islam too will 'secularize'. It is just human nature. When we are born, we are human being above everything else.
As to your differences between Biden and Trump: Interesting insight!!

Gaza should make (like Hezbollah did after the 2006 war) its own war museum and keep put these damaged Israeli equipment on display in it. Gaza's performance was amazing and special, it deserves to store its "war trophies" for future generations to see, remember and be inspired by.
