I would not have expected any different from these people. It is of course meaningless in light of what Biden did with his pardons.

This picture says it all. Allow me to introduce you to the dumbest person in the Senate:

Regarding the illegal immigration issue and poor little Selena Gomez, who just happens to have been born in Grand Prairie, Texas crying up a storm about the illegals. Here is just how disingenuous she is:

- her father is of Mexican descent. That means he was likely born here as well.
- her mother is of Italian descent. So that means Selena is not full blooded Latino.
- She no longer speaks Spanish. Her Spanish waned starting about the time she was 7 and began to act on TV.

If she's going to shed tears, perhaps she should follow the advice of Tom Homan:

She should be shedding tears, for the Angel Mom's who have buried their children, because an illegal alien killed them.

She should be shedding tears, for the 1/4 million people dead from fentanyl overdoses.

She should be sheeding tears, for the children and young women, who have been forced into the sex trade by cartels.

She should be shedding tears for the border patrol and I.C.E. agents, that I have buried.

The position of director is a 10 year position, although knowing Trump’s tendency to swap out subordinates, is this the kind of appointment that could one of the most consequential that could last anywhere from a few years till 2035?

Granted the following are from left wing channels, but it seems loyalty is the main prerequisite, followed by being willing to go along with a sledgehammer approach to changing the government.

This is true regardless of who sits in the Oval Office. You don't get appointed because the President doesn't trust you.

President Trump was right to replace Comey during his first term. Comey was compromised. Had the President not listened to deep state insiders and had a little more research on Wray, he wouldn't have appointed him either.

I’m not saying it’s not the president’s prerogative to pick whom he deems fit, as with picking a Supreme Court judge, but senators should do their due diligence, because this can have consequences for a decade.

Former U.S. Senator Robert Menendez Sentenced To 11 Years In Prison For Bribery, Foreign Agent, And Obstruction Offenses

The prosecution of Senator Robert Menendez under the Biden administration exemplifies a commitment to judicial independence. Biden's decision to stay out of judicial actions against his own party leader was a wise one. Even though the Biden administration had its shortcomings, critics must acknowledge that bringing charges against a Democratic Senator shows some commitment to justice over politics.

On the other hand, it is reasonable to question whether a dishonest MAGA Republican senator would be subject to the same level of scrutiny under Trump.

I heard snippets on the radio earlier. It was brutal. On some topics he was not wrong.

There was a reason why Menendez was sold out. If you've been following the saga with Mayor Eric Adams in NYC, the same thing is happening to him.

In Menendez case, he was just plain dirty. Been like that for years and lied about it. He brought this on himself.

Regarding your question about a Republican Senator, are you familiar with the case of Duke Cunningham? Who was President then?

Trump won because enough of the public respected his sincerity to his principles. Democrats think they can count on winning enough seats in the midterms (“a blue wave”) because enough people will have buyers remorse, but as the shift has shown, people wants sincerity to principles as well as competence.

These democrats that don’t even try to push back hard enough, are prepared to be on outs with Trump on principles, enough of them could lose their seats come the midterms, that Trump continues to hold power through his full term.

Democrats have to build back the way Ro Khanna and Bernie say, by being of service to their constituents, not just great at fundraising from billionaires.

But maybe like Mayor Adams, these democrats have too many skeletons in the closet to stand up to Trump. This is why the Democrats need new blood, vetted by tough people that know the electorate. People like Hassan Piker.
