Never free and fair election. Military has always pattern of weak political setup in Pakistan. They never let any party have an absolute majority. Punjab need to be divided into 2 or 3 provinces. Otherwise controlling Punjab is enough to control the country's whole politics and that is the reason the rest of 3 provinces have extreme unrest.

Why only Punjab? Karachi can be made a semi province.
Baluchistan and KPK should be divided into much smaller pieces.

When Pakistan was created, agreement was done to give the provinces autonomousy, this is why they have their own parliaments. Pakistan is not a unitary state but federal, if Pakistan divides the provinces it will cause alot of issues.

I understand what you are saying and i completely agree with you.

But at the end of the day who is to blame for this?
Imo, the entertainment/media industry itself. They have no standards whatsoever, they dont seem to understand the importance of "propaganda machine" that they are.
In Pakistan there is so much to cover, so many different cultures/landscapes and social issues. And we have a rich history spanning millenia. Yet our industry would rather dub turkish dramas then to make their own.

The pile of garbage they call dramas stink from miles away bcz of multiple reasons( lack of good stories/shooting/acting etc etc).
PTV is state run, so they dont have to be strictly profitable, thats why back in the days they could afford to speriment and think outside of the box, and mostly it paid off. They created some of the best pakistani dramas ever, imo.



P.s. people complaing about punjabis being dominant is pure bs, imo. You see punjabis everywhere bcz they are half of your population, what are they supposed to do? Should they be relegated to their houses?
