Attack on Jaffer Express

So what is the final tally? Out of 440 we have 346 rescued? Are the rest dead or captured?

There is a grand play for resources about to kick off as US gears up to recoup and onshore manufacturing. Mandating states to open their markets for American goods and services, pay tariffs etc.

In the background is a war for minerals and resources that have been cornered by the Chinese for a production/export based economy.

It has a huge destabilizing effect as underdeveloped yet accessible areas and ports will be in demand. Huge resources canbe dumped to buy loyalties skewing political landscape creating an environment where US can step in with a deal. My fear is Balochistan is a low hanging fruit that may be too much of tease for some to let go...

Of course the above speculation or conjecture can manifest in simultaneous heating up of similar self styled insurgencies finding new life lines. Ukraine conflict very quickly devolved into its core and formerly unsaid underlying demands. A need for rare earth's and productive agricultural land... further diversifying supply chains through Lobito Corridor in Africa.
Fortress America by coercing Canada and Greenland to join in... and let's face it US can literally take control via what could be termed as a law enforcement operation.

Yes things ARE this dire... as the gold reserves are scrutinized. Where the word on the street is... the vaults are empty. Which means we're heading for a new gold rush... and wherever new reserves could be found.

It is important to connect the dots for an informed decision making... and I'll leave it at that...

This development narrative is too much

So just get the development wand out and before you know it we have the Zurich of the east, like the rest of the nation......it's that easy

there are reasons, why the average person in Punjab is more accepting or predisposed to urbanisation and institutions versus the tribal belt, anyone know?

The tribal belt

TRY - BHULLL

If you want development then stop being a try-bhull, how do you do that? They have been isolated and far from urbanisation

It's therefore not a resource issue alone, that's the easy bit

How do you get people to willingly want to replace their old traditional systems and cede to proper institutions... police, tax, state law, more women's equality

People here are effectively advocating a perpetual welfare state

You don't just give people development like it's a car😂

You seek it out, part's of Africa are much ahead in this, they are clearly doing what they can with the basic resource they have, it's simply a better predisposition

Just to answer this question since no one else has. The 440 number is derived from "ticket bookings" sure 440 booked tickets but not necessarily 440 people will have travelled or boarded the train.

This was a very fast moving incident, more clarity will come out regarding the final figures of passengers, casualties etc in the coming days.

I am still flabbergasted that people are dismissing on Social Media and especially here on PDF, just how complex and difficult this Rescue Operation was and how well the Pakistan Army and Security forces executed their duty to eliminate terrorists and save innocent lives.

How da fuqq can anyone derive pleasure/ satisfaction from killing totally bhookay nungay ghareeb log who got no skin in da game?......can't even secure their next fukking meal properly no.......?

Makes no sense.

Our establishment is a total disgrace for running down our country into the sewers. Mubarak howay to all of us......Now its out in da open. CIA/ Mossad/ Raw/ MI-6....all of em brazenly operating in our country via Afghanistan and there is nothing we can do about it.

This thread is prime example on why we can't have peace in Pakistan, even the so called pardh likhe members with titles with all their political jargon failed to understand that BLA is not some sad Baloch who are mad because bathroom mai pani aur ghar mai bijli nai hai, go to different parts of Pakistan you will see similar if not worse situation, we have people commit suicide because of lack of jobs, not the best thing but they are not stopping random mazdoor of certain ethnicity and executing them, if BLA fight was indeed for Balochistan rights why attacking civilian infrastructure ? don't they need that if they want free Balochistan? and what does killing Sindhi/Pathans has to do with that ? its nothing but pure ethnic hate which is fueled and funded by Indians, you can make Balochistan develop like any European nation but they will blow it all up within 6 months, and yet here we are and our stupid title holders still arguing over bad economical situation and poor governance issues, like rest of the Pakistan mai shehad aur doodh ki nehrain beh rahi hai.

BINGO, the behaviour of these people is jahil

They are murderous and violent to an extent that is intolerable

They attack schools and poor labourers and teachers and trains

And we have RETARDS thinking we should negotiate with these kind of harami

It's the same with the tribals

You can make a new Switzerland for them and they will blow it up, block the roads and murder innocent people

They are horrible horrible people

Never negotiate with Terrorists. Remember how Radio Mullah came into being? Give them an Inch and they take a Yard.

There are enough women in the country who will give birth in the coming decades to maintain the supply of fresh bodies. A couple dead here and there with jazba in heart wouldn't dent the army.

It's what happens when you maintain a sub-par-level population by the will of Allah (swt).

and whose fault is that ?

Iran-Afghanistan-India all three are behind this. Pakistan’s incompetence and cowardice has allowed small countries like Afghanistan and Iran bully nuclear power Pakistan.
Balochistan has legitimate concerns and government needs to focus on developing Balochistan, but the foreign element shouldn’t be overlooked. Even if Pakistan fully develops Balochistan its enemies will find new proxies and new narratives to spread terrorism with in Pakistan. A critical component in the solution to terrorism is making it very costly to find terrorism in Pakistan. Such an attack would have been considered an act of war in other countries. Pakistan is a nuclear power ffs if its neighbours want war let them understand they will also cease to exist in any future war.

The people of Pakistan must get rid of the entire ruling elite which is corrupt, secular, liberal and feminist.

There is nothing wrong with being secular, liberal or feminist. The strongest countries in the world have those values !!!! Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, large muslim countries that have those values and are much stronger than Pakistan. More religion is not the answer, it has never been the answer, and never will be the answer. If you go down the road of more religion, you end up being Afghanistan.

Corruption is the core problem, and that can only be fixed by having a 'real rule of law', and not the rot that we can see in the SC that we see now. Real democracy, rule of law and accountability, meritocracy, finding the smartest person for the job regardless of gender, they are the pixie dust of success..

Sure. Here is the gem of a post just for reference:

You have Abdul Qadeer, a young 14 year old boy who does fck all during the day in some village of Khuzdar district (I'm sure you've gone there), and is sent by his family to earn some money.

But, there's no economic opportunity for him. He earns practically nothing, and his whole family lives a shitty life. In comes some BLA recruiter, offers him some money, and slowly inculcates him and takes him off into the mountains. This isn't unique to BLA BTW.

This is one route of recruitement. Now since you've let it foster for decades, Abdul Qadeer's cousins, relatives, tribesmen, who go to IIUI or AIOU or wherever, also start thinking along the same lines.

You do need a source to fund and start it all, but once that happens, the movement becomes self sustaining. Yeh India kar raha hai, Iran kar raha hai walay ronay dhonay 15/20 saal pehle karnay thay aur usi waqt rokna tha.

Us waqt aap ki dunya main thori bauhaut izzat bhi thi. At that time you thought you had it all figured out, and see where you are.

I mean all of this isn't unique to BLA or Pakistan. You aren't being told to resolve quantum computing or something. It's literally the same few reasons all across the world. Why do you think no rich or middle class country takes up arms and starts a struggle?

@Azin, Reducing complex socio-economic nuances into one liner jokes isn't a sound strategy. Pick a book and study history dude, kuch seekho dunya main kia ho raha hai. Ya phir aisay one liner lateefay hi martay raho, guzara chalta rahay ga.

Or did you take a lead from Mohsin 'Aik SHO ki maar' Naqvi? That'll explain it.
Poor 14 year old boy then gets turned into pink mist for 200 PKR per week. Such amazing line of work.
